Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

Hi William, try Polimaker Polymax PLA can be Your solution for having a good print that minimizes stringing. I work with five different PLA (Raise, Bigrep Hi-Temp, Polymaker Terra, Polymax PLA and Colour Fab Laser Marking); I have to make samples using different PLA to see where text is print with a...

Re: Engineering plastic filament

Hi, I have seen the post and I want to give my contribution. It's some time that I'm looking for some filament that can replace POM-C (Delrin) or Teflon. These filaments are known in the world of 3d Printer to be impossible to stick on the bed and to be toxic. In every case, I have tried with POM-C ...

Re: Filament stuck in the upper part of the extruder

It's true, You are not able to open the filament sensor because you have to unscrew slightly the the screw behind the chain. If You see the chain on the upper side of the chain attachment You will see a 2.5 screw. Unscrew slightly and the filament sensor will come from the extruder. https://flic.kr/...

Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

Hi Vicky, could be useful to know, how is the range of retraction with different material. Example PLA: 0.5-2 mm TPU 1.5-3 ecc ABS ASA I have made my profiles for every material and as You know can (must) change with print geometry but it's better to know BEFORE how much we can arrive with retractio...

Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

Hi William, the problem is caused from my fault 1) too much retraction on PLA 2) the filament used for text was only 0.1g and so this retraction "worked" always in some cm of filament damaged it. The good news was that when I have listened to the noise I have stopped immediately print and ...

Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

Hi William, when I read Your message I think of Yesterday, I had the same problem, but I have solved them for myself. I have some text very small to print in a rectangle 50x10 mm and to minimize stringing I have increased retraction. After some minutes that Raise print text, there were some noises o...

Re: Tempered Glass issue

Your dealer is out to lunch regarding your printer. We have a single N2+ at work which uses the glass bed, and it's a PITA to keep locked down (paper clips / tape was used previously.) I designed and printed a plastic part that locks everything in place and it's been working great. Will probably ha...

Re: Controlling temperature of the build space by controlling the HEPA-filter fan

Hi DirkH, is not exactly, TPU and TPE is well known that doesn't want raft and I use these filaments normally without raft but directly on bed (without problems). PLA, ABS, ASA,PC, Nylon(Taulman 910),PCTPE (Taulman), PETG-TECHG (Taulman) in my print wants raft and I use raft. Last week I had to prin...

Re: Tempered Glass issue

Hi iYura, I have seen that forumers that use glass on PRO2 don't put in direct contact with plane but use this: https://www.ebay.it/itm/133216515691?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 So the material is ok to conduct the heat and keep the glass still. This is ok when You ...

Re: Controlling temperature of the build space by controlling the HEPA-filter fan

Hi Steadipanda, I think that levelling the bed it's the first thing to do but if You work some hours on it, it's possible to levelling "perfect" the bed. After with raft and Magigoo Pa You can print without problem also with size bigger. I use Taulman 910 with 910 raft, also with sequentia...

Re: Controlling temperature of the build space by controlling the HEPA-filter fan

Hi Dirk, I think 3d printer is not it's not an exact science we must study. The profiles You have on raise academy are a good point to start, after You have to develop YOUR profile. With nylon I use fan 0 but it depends from the geometry You have to print . In every case for raft (4 layers) and the ...

Re: Controlling temperature of the build space by controlling the HEPA-filter fan

I DirkH I have seen that with bed temp at 100°C the temp inside printer room is under 50°C and so I think that also with max temp at 110 it's impossible to have 60°C. (55?) Problems with Nylon and PRO2/Build TAK for my experience are not real. For example, with Thaulman 910 I use 250/60 and Magigoo ...

Control list for speed

Hi to the community, I'd have to request on Ideamaker, I would like to have the control table speed with layers as it is with temp and cooling. As is for the first layer on the raft, there are some critical points during a print when it could be useful to control speed, for example, from layer 74 to...

Re: PLA Extrafill Traffic Black from filament2print

Hi Chris, I have read Your thread and if I can I have some recommendations for You dry the filament. With PLA it's sufficient 4-6 hours at 50°C and the filament will be in the best condition to print. The date from the company write clearly that this filament is very far from Raise PLA Infact You ha...

Hi, miszun,
Dynapurge is the filament I use to clean the nozzle for my PRO2.
In Italy, it's not a problem to buy and it's very good.

Re: Extrusion problem

Hi, Sometimes when You change material, the nozzle inside has some residual on the wall, and this is the reason which is why You have that problem. When I change material, I have a filament to clean the nozzle and whit this, I don't have the problem of extrusion with a longer life of the nozzle. It'...

Re: TPU en RAISE3D E2

Hi Antonio, how many work hours has Your nozzle? because could also be that Your nozzle has some TPU carbonized inside and the extrusion is not good. With other material like PLA, ABS or ASA how the printer works? Extrude properly? In this period I'm working with different brands of TPU and when I c...
