Re: Board Error 3030

I keep getting Error 3030: z probe already triggered at start of probing move. I'm not sure how to fix it, is there a mechanical fault or is it a simple adjustment that will fix it. I have included the log file. It sounds like the physical probe may be having issues. I would suggest creating a supp...

Re: Matterhackers Pro Series PLA

It works great with this PLA filament at 220C. The suggested printing range for this filament is 200C-220C so it is still in spec. It is just 'odd' that it is so far off a different color filament from same manufacturer. It might be that the different color additives change the material properties ...

Re: Scratched Y Rods

Oops, realized this is posted in an E2 topic. Either way, the cause and repair is the same. The rod failed because the bearing failed. Always replace as a matched set. You’re right, I completely agree! Would you be able to provide the ticket number from when you were speaking to our support staff?

Re: IdeaMaker and the E2 level sensor

I just started using IdeaMaker on my new E2. When I print a long part without a raft, it always starts the print with the bed leveling sensors taking readings where the part will print at. When I print a much larger part that takes up the entire print bed AND use a raft, the print will start every ...

Based on the image it looks like the machine encountered a serial error. Would you be able to provide an image of the exact error that appeared on the screen?

Re: Faster Way to change out a hot end assembly

I am finding that it is better to have different hot end assemblies for different materials for a number of reasons. Would be great if I could switch them out quicker. I currently have an N2, a pro, and E2. Just a fast way to get the side fan out of the way would be great. Unfortunately, I can not ...

Re: Rafts and supports for pure nylon

As adhaesive I use a noname-gluestick purchased from Prusa, 3DJAKE Adhesive Spray and 3DLac Spray. All 3 work, but the gluestick gives more consistent results and can be used with the bed in place. What we find to work best with most Nylons is PVP glue stick (Another form of craft store gluestick) ...

Re: weird banding on some models - advice on how to fix?

The lines that are appearing in your prints could be due to the part wobbling during printing. This could be an issue between the design of the model and the speed that you are attempting to print at. Reducing the speed could reduce this effect. Another option that may help is to print the model on...

Hi, I am using a 1 kg PolyFlex TPU95-HF and it seems like my Pro2+ having difficulties to rotate the roll and since the filament is very flexible, I am having issues. Is there any solution for this? I was thinking of having a ball bearing around the filament spool holder? For larger spools of flexi...

Thank you for the replies. We tore the top end down once again, and re-adjusted the heat sink on the hot end, cleaned everything out again, and reset the factory settings on the machine. Its running again. Now we know what to and what not to do when cleaning the top end. Thanks again. Hi, I am expe...

Re: Build plate Dip

Has anyone had issue with the build plate being slightly warped or dipping in the middle? We've had our Pro2 Plus for just under 2 years and have recently noticed layer height issues on larger prints. While replacing the build surface we thought to check the plate itself and using a metal ruler, we...

Re: Matterhackers Pro Series PLA

I was able to print a full Bency at 220C, then I tried 215C which did not work. Back at 220C and a second full Benchy print went fine. After that I did two more 3+ hour prints of a small enclosure which also worked fine. In total about 10 hours of printing with this PLA at 220C. I have to admit to ...

Re: Controlling temperature of the build space by controlling the HEPA-filter fan

I use a Raise3D pro2 with some mods (liquid cooling of hotend and extruder motors, stronger fans, different airflow around the motion controller board, temperature controlled fans in the PSU). The issue is that printing nylon without any added components causes strong warping. I managed to get the ...
