Re: Cannot use Mirror or Duplicate mode? Error 4013

Ok, thanks for that guide, will give it a try soon when back from vacation. Is there any particular reason how this could happen? Is it from only using one head all the time? The only way that the offset value could change is if the hotend is physically adjusted and the calibration is re-run to pro...

Re: E2 machine body color(s)

It has come to consideration while loading filament and performing basic maintenance on my E2, that the monochrome black color of the machine makes it more difficult to see what I'm doing. Might it be good if the interior of the printer was a bright color, even white? It might be even better to hav...

Re: Cannot use Mirror or Duplicate mode? Error 4013

Hello, I'm having a few issues with my E2 but let's start with this one. Note, i've had this E2 since June 2020. I haven't used my right extruder due to the 'printing pause' issue for quite some time but the other day i wanted to try something using Duplicate mode. But when i tried i was given the ...

This could definitely be a cause as to why the motion system is not functioning properly.

Re: Hot ends will not reach target temperature on N2 Plus, any suggestions?

Do you mean this? Raise3D.jpg This is actually the old board that I took out, the new one went in exactly the same except the XYZ limit switches had three pins and the old board had two so I just connected on the top two. Not exactly. What I am looking for is a few detailed images of the printhead ...

Re: Bad print on small holes (stringing?)

Hi, I'm using a Raise Pro 2, with PLA, slicing with Ideamaker. Yes, the gcode is now attached in this comment. Should I reduce flowrate? But the weird thing is that it only has this imperfections on one side, the other one is perfect. Thanks a lot for your help! :) Can you please check to see if yo...

Re: Hot ends will not reach target temperature on N2 Plus, any suggestions?

Everything was working fine, then it stopped. Updated the RaiseTouch and firmware Ran Auto PID Adjustment Replaced the heater rods, thermocouples, fans and the motion controller board. It always stalls at about 5-10 degrees short of the target, no matter the target temperature The bed temperature h...

Re: Polymaker polimide pa6 + cf

on the contrary of other suppliers polymaker doesn't specifically recommend a larger nozzle, but due to wear it strongly recommend an hardened one, but it talks about few hundred grams.. the sample was 100gr https://cdn-3d.niceshops.com/upload/file/PolyMide_PA6-CF_PIS_EN_V1.2.pdf the profile on the...

Re: Problems with Standard PVA

We just bought the Raise3D E2 printer for two months and now we want to test the PVA material. We buy the standard PVA materials from the official website of Raise3D and set it as the support document sayings, however, it doesn't work. Every time we start printing, the machine says: "Material ...

Re: PETG bridging

Hello folks, I've recently switched from pla to petg, and I've been getting small bridging issues, as you can see in the attatched images, with the gcod file. I've tryed reducing and increasing speed, and different cooling setups. This was the best I could get so far. Don't know if you'll be able t...

Re: Easy PC-CPE in both extruders?

It looks like your XY offsets may be slightly off and may need to be re-calibrated. Please follow this guide to re-calibrated them properly; https://support.raise3d.com/ideaMaker/6-2-calibration-xy-offset-for-raise3d-pro2-series-printer-15-1009.html I would suggest calibrating the offsets with PLA a...

Re: E2 duplication mode left extruder 4x more volume than right extruder.

I would suggest creating a support ticket so that one of our technical support engineers can better assist you in solving the issue. This shape is 0.3mm thick, so 1 layer x 0.3mm. Printed just fine. I then reduced layer thickness to 0.2mm, so 1 layer x 0.2mm. Printed just fine. I then reduced layer ...

Re: Polymaker polimide pa6 + cf

Hello, since i had a 100gr sample i used the stock 0.4 brass nozzle wich was kinda new (around 200 hr of printing abs/petg). I stowed it in a polibox ad the night before printing in a esun dryer I would suggest trying to swap your nozzle out with a hardened one. Even printing small amounts of abras...

I replied to this last night, but that post hasn't appeared yet... Yes, my machine had an old version of the firmware. That was the firmware version that came installed when my new machine was delivered (a couple weeks ago). Shortly after the initial test print failed (Board Error) I upgraded both ...

Sure. The Gcode file is too large to attach, so here is a WeTransfer link to the Gcode file: https://we.tl/t-fkgG0SOOjS I think this is my Gcode from the second attempt, with four hinged boxes. After getting the same error, and searching the forum for a solution, I gave up and printed two instead o...

Re: E2 - working perfectly

There are so many posts here regarding problems with the E2, I just wanted to report that for my use case (NylonX, Ionic support filament, TPU) mine has been behaving without (self inflicted) hiccups. I wish it had dual gear extruders, I think that would make it a little more forgiving, but now tha...
