Re: Get proper harden/steel nozzle for the E2

What kinds of temperature differences are you noticing with the hardened steel nozzles? with hardened steel you need to print 15°C - 20°C hotter du to the bad thermal conductivity of hardened steel. you should consider buying a real tungsten (not tungsten carbide) nozzle. its more wear resistant th...

Re: E2 Paused printing

Thanks for sharing!

So is the problem in the logic or motion controller? And what is the issue exactly? Can it be corrected with a firmware update?

Any Raise3d employees also feel free to answer...

Re: E2 Paused printing

There's a simple reason not to share it. Raise 3d pretends the problem doesn't exist and doesn't bother. Why should we make it so easy for you? If it's cheaper for Raise to change printers, so be it Who is “we” and “you”? If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re not willing to share the informati...

Re: E2 Paused printing

I believe I have the same problem... the print head will stop in place for about 1 second seemingly at random. Is this thread referring to the same problem: https://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=21082 I'm not sure if this problem is causing any printing defects, but I do notice the same...

Re: Right extruder missing a piece?

Thank you all for the replies! Your extruder looks exactly the same as mine @Vipao, so it does not seem like I am missing any pieces from the extruder. I think I was just being overly paranoid. Plus, the screw holes implied that something was there, but I guess I never really paid attention to it be...

Right extruder missing a piece?

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the holidays. Could you please take a look at the photo of my right extruder and tell me if there is a piece missing? Looks like there should be a piece attached to the screws but that's missing as well. Definitely "doesn't look right", and very dif...

Re: Get proper harden/steel nozzle for the E2

Will this Copperhead hotend bundle work? It's for the Pro2 so I'm not sure if it will be compatible with the E2... They don't have an E2 specific bundle. https://www.sliceengineering.com/pages/hotend-configurator-raise3d-pro2-copperhead-hotend I'm also kind of hesitant to change out the hotend on my...

Re: Get proper harden/steel nozzle for the E2

Thanks for the info and hope to hear it worked nicely. Update. The V6 does work, but not ideal since the top part is flat while the heat break of Raise3d is chamfer at the end. So ideal the heatbreak also need chamfer to match. The MK8 nozzle is a tiny bit shorter and also flat on top. So were ther...
