Re: How do I set Bridging Extrusion Modifier

I used the free trial to dial-in my PETG filament. After successfully running all of the tests, I have to say I've learned a lot. I ran another test session with the numbers from my first session, along with some additional tweaks, and the PETG tests printed great; so did my own 3D print using the n...

How do I set Bridging Extrusion Modifier

Just as a test I ran a 3Doptimizer test (link: https://3doptimizer.com ) on my Pro2 Plus using the PLA included with the printer. Per the test, the best settings for bridging came at these values: Bridging Print Speed: 47mm/s Bridging Extrusion Modifier: 2.0 Bridging Part Cooling: 100% My question i...

Thanks for this link, it's an excellent resource. I signed-up for a free trial, and have been tuning/testing since. My test prints are getting great results.

Which print speed setting should be changed?

Newbie question here... When I read that a particular filament needs an adjustment for speed, exactly which speed values should be changed? For example, I am printing with PETG (Matterhackers) and have read that I should start with a profile for PLA and adjust the speed to 50mm/s. Looking at the PLA...

Re: First time leveling having problems

Thanks, it was definitely hitting the z-home button after each turn of the adjustment screw that solved it.

Re: Pro2 Extruder Clicking Without Filament

Thanks Vicki, I figured out it was the pva breaking due to the cold environment where my printer is located. The filament would just bend and snap right of the spool. I dried the filament and warmed the room and the clicking/breaking stopped.

Re: Pro2 Extruder Clicking Without Filament

I hear clicking on my new pro2 plus with the right extruder loaded with pva. Not sure if this is the same thing. Not sure if I should factory reset either?

First time leveling having problems

So I just rec'vd my pro2 plus and printed a few things, noticing some corners warping up when I print a 2 inch by 3 inch flat bottom box, one especially. Per the manual these arrive pre-leveled, but due to shipping I should check if the bed is level. So after setting x/y/z to home, I moved the print...

Can model be designated as Support?

I did a little research regarding custom support structures and mostly find results about manual/auto supports in ideaMaker. I played around with this tool, which is great, but I'd like to know if I can designate a model in the scene as a "support" structure. That is I add two models to a ...

How do I set total perimeter width?

I just received my new pro2 plus and have successfully printed #3DBenchie yay. So my next print is an stl I downloaded for free and the instructions say I should: Adjust your slicer to no infill and a total perimeter width of 1 mm....
