Re: Temperature Sensor Error

They've already been updated to the latest version when the error happened. I filed a ticket with the logs, but it got closed since I'm in Europe. My reseller has been less than helpful.

Re: Temperature Sensor Error

It COULD be that the extruder drivers are overheating instead. So far, a pause every two hours seems to work (knock on wood)

Re: Temperature Sensor Error

Same problem. Using the Polymide PA6-CF filament, once temperature surpasses 300C it errors... sometimes. It's usually fine if it's heated up immediately after the error causes a reset. I've filed a ticket with Raise3D support and they told me to contact my local reseller. Despite being a bug in the...

Weird slicing behavior

I'm printing parts with soluble supports and getting really weird support patterns on one of the parts. The files are too big to upload here, but here's a video: https://i.kane.cx/IwHqg9.mp4

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

I contacted 3d-laserdruck.de and they replied that they only deliver to "industry clients", despite me being a company.

Well, it's not like they're the only service around. Not like I'm in a rush anyhow.

Re: Autocalibrator

Just copy what Markforged does. Laser distance sensor and a program that guides you through levelling, then compensates for the rest.

Re: Manual Mesh Leveling Pro2

Please. I can construct a mesh offset fairly easily with a digital indicator and a bit of code. Just add the gcode to put it in, please.

Re: Bed levelling and first layer quality -- at wits end

Ok, whatever. I got my corners to acceptable tolerances with some high spots in the intercardinal locations that I might mess with later. I'll get a precision ground aluminum or glass plate later on if I decide to keep this printer. Honestly not sure I want a closed source printer with the amount of...

Re: Bed levelling and first layer quality -- at wits end

This is the best I was able to get so far. Attempts to pull down the sides further failed, so I suspect the build plate is warped.

Plot is x/y in mm vs values in um relative to an arbitrary zero.

Re: Fire safety

That's weird. What antivirus are you using and what's the error message? I'll send them a message about a false positive.

Bed levelling and first layer quality -- at wits end

So, I got my rental Raise3D Pro2 Plus yesterday. First small prints went fine, but first layer attachment (of the included Premium PLA) was a tad strong. Decided to check bed levelling via the calibration print, and noticed that the right side was too low. And then the bed levelling nightmare began....

Re: Fire safety

That's such a basic thing to get wrong. My Raise3D Pro2 rental should arrive soon, and I'll check if that's an issue there too.

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

If there's a group buy in Germany, I would be potentially interested---looking at Raise3D printers right now.

How severe are the issues? Would you recommend other printers (and if so: which?) in the same price/size category? Or is this something that comes with the price region?
