Re: Issue with surface finishing

Please try lowering the nozzle temperature a bit. Like to 205 or 210. And also lower the bed temp by 5 or 10C and compare the result. Thanks for your answer. Acutally, I already tried to lower the temps. The only thing that happened is that the quality got worse. I almost were not able to break loo...

Re: Issue with surface finishing

Have you played around with the retraction settings at all? I would try slightly increasing the amount of retraction. Maybe 0.1-0.2mm steps. When I have had blobs/zits like this, 0.1-0.2mm retraction increase has always corrected the issue. I think I might have gone up by 0.3mm once. BTW, let me kn...

Re: Pro2 Plus worth it?

We have had issues with our Pro2 Plus since the beginning august 2018. I would not recommend buying this printer. Their support is doing a good job but it has been time differences since i'm living in sweden and their support is somewhere USA or maybe China? So it took some time to get thing done. N...

Re: Quality problem Pro2 Plus

Would you like to take some pictures around the printhead so that we can check the wiring? As would you like to help export serial log from your touchscreen? Hi Vicky The serial log I have to export tomorrow since I am working from home today. Here are some pictures around the printhead. Tell me if...

We also printed the Benchy with both right and left nozzle on each side of the printing surface to see if there would be any differences between the nozzles depending on where on the surface we were printing, but no..

Quality problem Pro2 Plus

Hi everyone At my work we have a Pro2 Plus that we had a lot of trouble with since the beginning. We had two shaft couplers, both motor cables, the extruder and the extruder board and also a thermocoupler changed during 1 ½ year. Not sure if this is normal? I am getting tired of never quite trust th...

Re: Thinking about bailing on the Pro2Plus.... just cant keep fixing it.

I have similar experience as well. We have not had any clogg-issues except when we switched between a "hot" and "cold" PLA materials. Our biggest issue have been that we cant rely on its functionality. From start we had problems with axel couplings that were not correct assembled...

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Members in Sweden?

Re: Pro2 Plus Layer Shifting and x y Problems

We had similar problems with our Pro2 Plus. Our printings were ok from beginning and then they went crazy. After some searching we noticed that one of the axel couplers were loose because a missing set-screw and the other one were loose. Then I noticed that the other coupler also were missing a set-...

Re: Problem with corners

And about the corners, you are right. We thougt about it and wondering if there is something to do about it. Like, changing a parameter in IM that adjusts the speed and movement to make the corner sharper. Actually it does not affect the detail that much, we can always sand it to get sharper corners...

Re: Problem with corners

Hi Thanks for the feedback. Yes I know, I missed to add support at the edges. But I used normal PLA before and that one you print @ normal speed and temp @ 205-220 then it did not fell down like in this picture. This PLA PRO is a special verison that you can heat treat for extra strenght. So the spe...
