Re: Shell thickness change when sliced

Why does it draw two loops where the hole is but not above and below?

Re: Shell thickness change when sliced

That part prints fine. The issue is where there us just a single wall (as indicated in my screenshot)... IdeaMaker is changing it from two lines to just one for not apparent reason. I have tried all the setting combos I can think of. Not fix so far.

Shell thickness change when sliced

I am slicing a model that has a thin wall. There is a spot in the middle of the model (see attachment) that IdeaMaker drops down to a single line as opposed to two walls (one looped perimeter). All other slicers keep it as a loop, I cannot figure out why IdeaMaker wants to "thin out" the w...

Re: Feature Request - Disable heatup gcode warning

I have that disabled. What I find useless is the warning telling me that there is no heatup gcode in the start gcode. I don't want any heatup gcode, but I don't want to be bugged by an error telling me either.

Feature Request - Disable heatup gcode warning

It would be nice to disable this warning when there is no heatup gcode found (see attached). When running Klipper, no gcode is entered in the start gcode, only a call to a macro. I am tired of clicking yes to that warning every time I save the profile.

Re: Is it possible to "disconnect" a template?

That is what I thought too. And I have a feeling I am looking at this incorrectly.... Are the extruder profiles meant to be separate from the printer profiles? I had assumed that when a printer was selected, all the profiles below that would be unique (Extruder and Filament). But that is not the case.

Is it possible to "disconnect" a template?

I am not really sure how to phrase this question, so I hope it makes sense. I am having a hard time figuring out when a change in a filament profile will change other profiles. I recently made a change to the end gcode in for a primary extruder profile assuming it would only be changed under that pr...

Re: Installed Templatetes

We thought having some basic settings for different filament could give users a good starting to tune the settings when printing with new filament at the first time. Vicky, I think this is a great idea and a good way to get people started. But it would be nice to be able to get rid of the stuff you...

Why is this? I would love to be able to clean up the list of all the crap I don't use.

Re: RaiseCloud/Octoprint stuck at "Receiving Job"

RaiseCloud just updated to ver 1.1.0 but it did not fix the "Receiving Job" issue.

Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin fixed the issues. Please do not have the plugin prompt to reinstall if it is not the proper way to install it.

Re: Extruder switch gcode for Y-splitter (2-into-1 nozzle)

I am reviving an old thread here....

Does anyone have an example of an Extruder Switch Gcode that is set up for a Y Splitter?

That is good to hear, is there an ETA? An update to RaiseOcto has been a few days away for a couple months.

RaiseCloud/Octoprint stuck at "Receiving Job"

For the last couple days, I have been unable to send jobs to printers attached to RaiseCloud via RaiseOcto. It just sits in "Receiving Job". There is nothing I can do at that point other than reset the Octoprint software. I have heard from multiple other people that they are experiencing t...

Re: Option to Disable Esteps (M92) in Gcode

after setting it to "0" I get the following line in gcode:
"G92 E0.0"
Does Marlin interpret that as "use default"?

Thank you! This would be great to add as a tooltip when hovering over that option. I could not find that info anywhere in the application.

Option to Disable Esteps (M92) in Gcode

Would it be possible to add an option to disable the need to enter the eteps for in a printer profile? I do not need the slicer to insert an M92 EXXX line in my gcode as esteps are set in firmware. It is nice to have the option, if needed. But I don't need it, nor would anyone who has tuned there es...
