Re: 'Gantry Height' malfunction

Possibly this has a bug Portico height refers to the distance between the tip of the nozzle and the clamping bar of the extruder, in my case 75mm. But it doesn't do this, as you can see in the video the 'Gantry Height' just is limiting the printing height. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1s7aXSGDV...

Re: New Pro3 improvements translating to Pro2

With the new Pro3 coming out, I am curious as to how similar the configuration/hardware is the the Pro2 and if any of the improvements could or will be offered as an upgrade for the Pro2? I know that many of us would jump at the chance to upgrade to auto bed leveling if it was offered. I have a str...

Re: Printing order

Hi i want to print 3 large parts at the same time - since ideamaker seems to print part by part this makes long unnecessary travel paths, Is there a way to fix this ? I want to print these part mutiple times and the time adds up quite a bit Thanks, select all models, right mouse menu, click 'Merge ...

Re: Estimated print result | Edit/remove price

Hello, Where do I edit/remove the price from the estimated print result ? Estimated_Price.JPG I showed the print time to a client today and the price lead to some confusion that I would rather avoid in the future. Thank you. This is price of used filament for print. in idea maker, menu: Printer->fi...

Re: *FEATURE REQUEST* Enable wipe wall for single extruder

Currently if one wants to use the wipe wall as a draft shield it only works if one is printig with 2 heads so the only solution is to create a custom profile and hack it with a post processor remove of the second tool. The same way we have a checkbox to disable unecessary wipe wall printing there s...

Re: Bypass Filament Run-out Sensor

The filament run-out sensor doesn't properly detect breaks on my system. That being said I just want to remove that component and continue printing. Is there another place to plug in the lift servo? Otherwise is there a way to just bypass that sensor module completely? you can disable filament sens...

Re: [BUG] Incorrect Print Speed Behavior

I upgraded to 4.2.1.5320 that was just released today. And the odd super-speed sections reported above appear to have been fixed (those with the yellow 100mm/s) However, the speeding up of the tip of the fin is still happening when a minimum print speed (10mm/s set in this example). New 1.PNG I rea...

Re: Pro2 Plus Filament Getting Stuck

I tried cleaning with the included cleaning rod, but no help. Any other ways I could clean the nozzle? you can try atomic pull (it's hard to do it on pro2), cleaning with rod from Raise and acupuncture needle for nozzle output. Cleaning should follow on higher temperature, than was material extrude...

Re: Pro2 Plus Filament Getting Stuck

Hello, I am having a problem with the left extruder on my Pro2 Plus. When I load filament, the first little bit extrudes fine, then I hear a loud motor noise like the extruder motor is slipping, then it will not extrude any more filament. If I push the filament from the top by hand, it will extrude...

Re: Change "tool change" behavior

Good moring, I'd like to know if, and in case how, to change the IdeaMaker "behavior" during the tool change. i explain: now whne a tool change occurs, the nozzle raises just for the Z-hop amount (I suppose) and wait for the new nozzle to reach the temperature. This is a big issue because...

Re: Lowering the bed when using "pause at height"

I am using the pause at height feature in Ideamaker to pause a print when inserts need to be added. To make it easier to access the parts, I would like the bed to drop before the pause and then move back up when the print is resumed. I have tried changing the pause code to include a bed drop prior ...

Hi All, I've looked on the forum and I see that a lot of people have installed PEI with the flex plate and I have found youtube videos on it. Re: Pro2 - Strange Heat Up Behavior

Hello, I am using a Pro2 and have noticed some strange behavior on heatup. I am not sure if this is an ideamaker issue, a Pro2 issue, or both. Here's an example: I'm using the right extruder only, and have it set to heat the bed and nozzle simultaneously (setting the bed to heat up first does not s...

Re: Extruder and Cooling Fan Life Expectency

Hi all, I've got a few Pro2 machines at work and I'm a bit frustrated at how long the fans from Raise3D are lasting. I only seem to get a few months of life out of both the extruder and part cooling fans. My machines are only averaging around 3000 hours of print time per year (8-9 hrs/day) and I'm ...

Re: Bed temperature suddenly drops to 0

This is a somewhat recent issue that as popped up. It first started happening a few weeks ago sporadically but now it seems to be happening on nearly every print. Basically mid way thru a print the ”actual” bed temperature on the drop screen drops to 0 and the printer faults out and requires a rest...
