Re: Enable/Disable "Per Layer" use?

Create new "setting groups" ;) - in "setting groups" you have individual "per group setting" and "per layer setting" :)

Re: Break away support

ASA/ABS <-> HIPS/PLA/PVA HIPS is dissolvable (but not in water), PVA in water From my experience it is hard to find good sitrus for HIPS some places and some are mixed with other cleaning agent that attack ABS also. PVA is hard to get "perfect". I have bought PVA HT from primaselect and t...

Re: Break away support

I tried exactly the same thing today: using PETG only in dense support. Surprisingly in my settings the both materials behaved exactly the other way round: the PETG could be easy separated from the support material below, but the ASA above, which should be the most separable (two layers distance) l...

Re: Break away support

Ok, thanks, I understand. Generally speaking, do you think its a good idea trying to approach a plain surface without a second, different support material, or is it always better using this possibility, if available? At the moment i have the impression that printing with two filaments has its issue...

Re: [BUG][IM-3.6.1] bottom layer error

This is not "bottom layer" but "first layer" :P - please check on tab 'Layer' and part "First layer settings" ;) that makes no sense to have this control panel and then have to go to a different place to get the same thing. but ya, you are right.. that makes no sense??...

Re: ideaMaker 3.6.1 Release Notes

If setting the retraction amount to be 0 in main template, do you want the retraction value in Per Layer Settings take effect or not? Yes, I want it. It's logical. Values from "per layer setting" should override main template, as is in warning message before slicing: "The Group and L...

Re: ideaMaker 3.6.1 Release Notes

If you set retraction as 0, then there should be no retraction right? yes, and no in the same time ;) I set to 0 in main template, but retraction is set as Enabled - so as default, I don't want retraction in model. That is correct. But I want to start/set up retraction on specific layer - so I set ...

Re: Notification of "print complete"

I would like to add my vote to have a notification when the printer finishes printing the GCODE as I am not always watching my Raisecloud and would like to reduce downtime and not have to set my own timer on my phone or watch to keep tabs on my printer. 5 minutes after printer finish job, you shoul...

Re: Support structure with z-hop

One of the pictures I uploaded shows the retractions. Including those in the support. one more time: did you checked option "Avoid Unnecessary Retraction in Support" in filament slicing profile in extruder tab, or not? These settings tells to slicer how treat retraction when printing supp...

Re: Support structure with z-hop

I have uploaded a video to youtube that shows what I am referring to. I changed the z-hop value to 1mm to make it easier to see in the video. The slicer shows there should be retractions in each of the three segments that make up the support structure. But clearly there is no z-hop if the travel is...

Re: Overhang settings not working

Vicky, I can see the print speed dropping at the overhangs as it should (on preview and physically while printing) however I can't see the fan speed changing. It should go up from 25% to 50% at overhangs however it constantly remains at 25% if I look on the printer's display. you should observe fan...

Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

What other settings you feel will be useful? on layer (part of model exactly) over supports (normal and dense) Different from the current Overhang settings? Yes :) In overhangs we want to create as much adhesion beetween layers, as we can. Over supports, we want to get as low midlayer adhesion, as ...

There's a settings called Overhand shells fan speed. Please give it a try before we have new feature added. I know and I used this functionality - it's brilliant :) I also know, that I can run fan over raft using "Per layer settings" or fan control list on cooling tab. But it will be wond...

Re: Weird angle to sit flat?

Hi All, I have a model with a weird angle (19.44307 degrees) and I need to print from that plane. I have used Rotate to get it close but no way to get it to sit flat on the bed. Even defining the angle 19.44307 does not help. It looks OK but when I slice and Preview, it is either just above the bed...
