Re: Smart Filament Sensor

Unfortunately, we can't advise on making any types of modifications to the machine. The type of sensor that you are referring to would be very expensive to produce and make reliable enough to the point at which it would detect if the filament was jammed or tangled. This type of sensor would drive t...

Thanks for it, I personally have removed the handle and it is fine currently. I have not used too high plate temperature till now but I expect it will be needed in the future. PS: There is also this thread were STL files can be shared: https://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8&hilit=st...

Re: E2 faster data transfer for printing Gcodes

Did you have a sample STL object to print that always fail (or poor quality) on your printer?
I have never seen such problem on mine, I would be interested to check if mine could have also such kind of issue before I come to such problem during a production batch.

Re: Continue print from second spool

Yes, would be great. One way would to have a switch to enable such function (with a lot of usual warning as the heads need to be well aligned in Z) and generate the g-code like a duplication but with zero offset between the heads. So, the printer can decide in real time to switch from one gcode to t...

Re: Modifications for an external filament drybox?

I made a thread in the filament sensor to place a M5 tube connector so I can insert the tube from the box directly to the machine.

Re: how to print only one model , when several loaded ?

Workaround: You can make one .idea file with your 3 models aligned and then delete 2 of the models, print 1 and without saving, reload the original .idea file with the 3 models. Sorry if you already do that, just my 5 cents.

This guy has a similar issue as far I assume what you mean about "noise ". Maybe you can make a video so we can hear what kind of noise you get.

Re: Raise3d E2 pause slightly during print

Internal on the machine. I just have one E2 and don't use cloud. Ok, then not related to a bad USB stick or so. Looks like a severe error if it make a real pause and then jump in X and Y direction, seems not related to a single connector loose or bad wiring. Maybe if you can make a video of the &qu...

Re: 'Ripples' on the face where I moved the seam

Good to hear you have success. Was your spool of "3D Printing Canada PLA" fresh (new) or it has already some age, that could affect the material properties? Sometimes there are material or spool that are really worst than others and there are so many parameters in 3D printing that what wil...

Re: 'Ripples' on the face where I moved the seam

Try to increase a little the temperature, you are on the low side with 200°C, but that can vary from printer to printer, at least with the typical range for PLA of 190-220°C you have some margin.
Could be also some vibration from the cooling fan.
