Re: LOST CONFIG - Please move ideamaker config location to a standard TimeMachine backup location

The configuration directory normally contains important information. To avoid misoperation by general users, we leave it with command line for advanced users only. And according to what we can see, we don't find that Chrome puts settings for configuration directory in operation interfaces. Or we ma...

Re: LOST CONFIG - Please move ideamaker config location to a standard TimeMachine backup location

I agree with you some times such config on Windows PC is placed not really a normal user area where daily change is expected. You can set (at least on the windows version) with a command line parameter the location of the configuration files. I set mine to a dropbox handled folder so the settings c...

Re: LOST CONFIG - Please move ideamaker config location to a standard TimeMachine backup location

I've had my N2 for a few years. Do you know if the older/original versions of the mac software were configured to have the settings in this same location?

LOST CONFIG - Please move ideamaker config location to a standard TimeMachine backup location

I just wiped my mac. I have a good working TM backup from earlier in the morning but it appears the ideamaker folder, and thus all of my profiles, are gone.

Looks like my settings, and countless troubleshooting hours/days to develop them are gone, but maybe you can save someone else.

Re: z probe/sensor upgrade

Also in this boat and would like to add BLTouch to my printer. Super frustrating with all the bed adjustments I have to do anytime temps change.

Note to self: avoid locked in firmware as companies will absolutely abandon the user

Re: Octoprint and hacking the touch screen?

I finally got around to digging into this. My end-goal has changed - going to install a DUET 2 WIFI board, but the requirement on the touch screen is pretty much the same. I downloaded the IMG file you linked to and dumped it on an SD card. Flipped switches accordingly, and a desktop appears. The d...

Prusa Slicer profile for Raise3D printer?

I want to use the Prusa Slicer with my N2. Does anyone have a profile setup that they are already using that I can use as a base?

Dual filament printing - where are the instructions?

I'm trying to print a single object with a mix of materials from both print heads. I tried to look in the ideamaker manual but did not find anything mentioning dual extruder prints.

So, where is this documented?

Re: Printing directly on the bed without a RAFT?

If you're printing PLA without the raft, the standard PLA default profile works great. But, I've changed my bed height relative to the nozzle so that when you measure with the 0.2mm metal piece, it requires a little bit of persuading to fit between the nozzle and print bed. So the separation distan...

Home Assistant component for Raise3D

Home Assistant is a DIY home automation platform. Currently, there are two Octoprint HA sensors that use the Octorprint Component for being able to pull data out of the printer and into HA. Can Raise3D put some effort into developing these features for Home Assistant? If your API is very similar to...

Printing directly on the bed without a RAFT?

I'm still on my original filament that came with my N2. Everything I've tried to do to print without the RAFT does not seem to be working and it's adding a lot of time to the overall build. I'd like to figure out how I can print without it. If you are successfully printing without the raft , can you...

Permanent OCTOPRINT use?

So in this thread , they outline that Octoprint can be used without the touchscreen on the base hardware. Can you set it up such that the printer ALWAYS boots into Octoprint instead of having to SSH in, kill TS process, and launch OP? Is the USB port on top of the N2 connected to the system? Can it ...
