Re: Is the new Pro 3 stable, and repeatable

If you print PETG, especially, a spring steel PEI powdercoated sheet (the ones I got are double sided) will be the last one you need and your prints will stick like glue when hit and release with the slightest pressure if you let it cool completely. Which one do you use? I just ordered some from al...

Re: Is the new Pro 3 stable, and repeatable

We got two Pro3 plus printers since two or three months working and printing lots of different stuff, mostly (Raise)PLA. They printed like 800 hours now and not really any issues or problems (not caused by the operator). The only really wired thing is third party filament and the printquality - you...

Re: PEI Powdercoated Spring Steel Build Plate

I bought them from Alibaba. Just measure the size of the E2 buildplate and look for that size. I went for double-sided PEI powdercoating, so I could flip them over if they wore out. Would never consider using crappy buildtak again.

Re: Is the new Pro 3 stable, and repeatable

I have 4 of the E2s and the only thing I can tell you is to look for a PEI powdercoated spring steel sheet immediately to replace the buildtak the Pro3 machines also come with. Buildtak is TERRIBLE and gets destroyed way too easily, especially with high temp materials. If you print PETG, especially,...

Camera much better in new Raisetouch 1.51 with gamma control

Giving user control of the gamma for the internal camera has FINALLY made it somewhat usable. Unfortunately, the resolution options in the new 1.5.1 is broken. Selecting 640x480 gives me 160x120. Selecting 160x120 gives me 320x240 (which isn't even an option on the resolution screen). Can this be pa...

Re: Bubbles or something in Buildtak surface.

I'm curious what might have caused this. Seems to be slight bubbling. It might just be that the build surface is old and needed replacing (1 year, 600 prints, PLA only). I've replaced it and it's not a big deal, but if there's anything I can do to prevent it would be nice to know. 20220325_203804.j...

Re: E2CF print assemblies on E2?

After trying and mostly failing to get .2 nozzles to work reliably with PETG on any E2 I have, I've come to the conclusion that the E2 won't work because there is a gear on only one side to pull the filament in. What's needed is a gear on both sides of the filament like the E2CF. Has there been inf...

Re: E2 - Turn off chamber fan

Thanks Vicki. I may unplug mine to test and see if it improves things and reduces warping a bit for ABS and Nylon. The axial fan does seem to push out quite a bit of airflow. These fans typically don't work well in high static pressure situations, which means that if it's moving air out, it's defin...

But WHEN? You haven't released a raisetouch update in a year and a half! That's crazy, especially given how many known bugs there are in the Aug 2020 firmware.

I am sorry that the auto-update feature is not functioning for you and I will send this over to our development team so they can address this in future raise touch versions. For who this option is working? Only in your internal network inside raise3d? on mine machines: E2 - not working Pro2 plus - ...

Re: E2 Settiing, Machine, Update, Online Update, Automatic Update setting Enabled but not working.

Ryan, I can and do currently manually update the firmware, but I would like to utiliize the automatic update feature. Yesterday I updated to 0.3.1026, but I had to do so manually. Thank you Raisetouch hasn't been updated for almost a year and a half and is still very buggy and incomplete. I have 4 ...

Re: Opinions about E2?

Hello, to all E2 owners... Is he worth his money? Compared to the Pro 2 series, improved? But be REAL ;-) Thanks I have a love/hate relationship with the E2. I LOVE the enclosed machine and IDEX. I hate the buildtak surface and stock heater/nozzle setup. But that's fixable by replacing the buildtak...

Re: RAISE3D E2 - WARPING

What you may find if you use a PIE powder coated flex steel sheet is that it will pull way from the magnets because the adhesion is so good. I still use vision minor adhesive on all my prints for peace of mind. What Ihave done with all my build plates is to start with the Raise3D spring steel sheet...

Is there an ETA for release of a Raisetouch update? The last version was 15 months ago and there are a lot of small irritating bugs in the software I would like to say goodbye to.

I bought a Raise3d E2 a few months back and have had a great experience with it so far with the exception of silk PLA filament. TL;DR: Read the last sentence The problem: About an hour and a half into any print with silk filament, the top few layers start to get very spiderwebby and lose density, a...

2 - I saw some reports of the use of a PEI sheet by some members of the forum, those who use it wanted to know if they only use it or use glue or even kapton tape to fix the prints. PEI powdercoated spring steel sheets are the only way to go, IMO. The buildtak sucks. I probably went through 10 buil...
