Re: Printer hangs on power up
The last time I replaced a touch screen module it was something like $700.

Re: Extrusion Problems
Which Support Center? If your're in the US, contact the LA-based support center by phone. The forums solutions are mostly provided by other users and two reps from China's Raise3D office. If you're in Europe, contact the reseller, but don't expect miracles. Being an off-brand printer, I'd contact ot...

Re: Printer hangs on power up
Nothing a previously full wallet won't fix. Contact Customer Support in L.A. (if you're in the US) and they will walk you through troubleshooting it over the phone. If it's the main display driver unit, or the motor driver PCB, it won't be cheap out of warranty.

Re: Pro3 Hyper Upgrade Print Settings???
As the early adopters continue to beta-test a modification that should be standard at this price-point, I have to wonder how widespread these experiences are for others that purchased this upgrade. Obviously the documentation is weak - that's a Raise3D hallmark, but the questions you are asking rega...

I'll hold you to that beer!
With multiple printers working unattended at night and over weekends, the filament runout sensor was always used.
But always with black filament . . .

Re: Looking to hire IdeaMaker tutor
The support you read here is based in China. I doubt they have time to create a software general (or personalizd) training package - that should have been done years ago if the demand was there. That being said, there are plenty of videos online that explain iDeaMaker. Personally, I think it's a lot...

Re: Extrusion Problems
Since you're using an off-brand printer, you will probably get better help by providing more detailed info like your software settings, and G-code. Help Support help you. Note: Danny_V1's issue either went away or was never fixed because he did not provide the requested information to Raise3D. If th...

Re: Printing issues
Basically, you need to clear a likely jammed filament path, then figure out why you're having heat creep with a new filament brand. If the printer has been working properly with your tried-and-true filament, (and a hardware fault hasn't occurred) you'll need to tweak the slicer settings until you ei...

Re: MaxTempExceeded on heater 2 - HELP!
If your thermocouple is open, removing it from the circuit would have no affect. A better method might be to compare resistance values of the heater and sensor with known good values on the other print head to determine the source (if it is caused by one of those components.) If you don't know how t...

Re: Polycarbonate PC Heat Creep
The Pro2 heat creep issues, (and multiple solutions, both inexpensive and very expensive) have been posted extensively in threads on this forum. The Search function is your friend. The more you read, the more you'll learn how to cope with it. I used heat sinks bonded to the extruder motor bodies and...

Re: N2 Touchscreen not reacting to touch on it's left side
Have you contacted Raise3D technical support to open a support ticket? Rather than piggyback on a two-year old post placed in the wrong section of the forum, (this post should be under Hardware / N2 for best results) you might have better luck starting with Raise3D tech support (if your printer is i...

eBay often lists Pro2+'s at affordable prices. Here's a pretty good deal: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266067483971?hash=item3df2db9d43:g:USsAAOSwo4ZjsiKr&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoBo1dMRZ0l%2BXTTIzPCXNs%2FexkrmOiDiT%2F6xpG%2FFTZlo7RsiVDKJh7KWLhuXGxzPYFitXWqIMfVwsVVBZywG7kH9ciovAK7hQdAqguY%2FaLggRpIw7s4...

Re: Manual Mesh Leveling Pro2
Raise3D has made it very clear that there will be no factory-approved modifications, (were there ever any hardware upgrades besides QA-inspired changes?) to this model. What you see is what you get. If you want those two upgrades, you'll either need to implement them yourself or upgrade to an E2 / E...

Re: Choosing the right printer (E2/Pro2?)
It sounds like you know what you want to print, and the Pro2 meets that. With a discount, even better. I expect to see price reductions as the Pro2 is phased out. The Pro2 has some limitations that are unacceptable in a printer at this price point, (BL Touch sensors are just one ommission). The user...

Re: Proper Nozzle Height Calibration
The nozzle never changes height, so the build plate is aligned, (homed in Z) to it, minus the shim thickness. Every time a layer is finished, the build plate lowers .2mm (using the .4mm nozzle setting configured in iDealMaker.) For the same object, thicker layers (using larger nozzle bores) will pri...

Re: Filament gets stuck after some hours printing
Need to determine if this is a jamming or feed issue with more symptom info. 1. When the printer stops feeding, can you manually push filament out of the nozzle? 2. How are you removing the filament? Manually to pull it past the hob gear and then tightening the tension screw and driving it out with ...
