Using different hotends, like Nova?

I just came across this video, demonstrating the incredible speed fo the Nova Hotend. Is it possible to hack a Pro2 to be this fast?

I did. I've used it in the past for similar structures. It failed twice on this one.

Minimal raft?

Is there any way to get the raft to build only within a certain distance of model that contacts the bed? Screen Shot 2021-03-07 at 23.53.37 .png I like how far it extends outside this ring, but there's no need for it to completely fill in the interior; if it could extend the same distance inside the...

Support for time lapse recording of prints

Have you ever seen those timelapse videos of 3D prints where you never see the print head? It would be very cool if I could record those with the Raise 3D Pro 2. I think, to do this, I need to be able to move the head out of the way and send a signal to an external camera on each layer. Since there'...

Heating & Cooling of hot end for calibrating nozzle height?

The procedure for adjusting the nozzle height requires each nozzle to be heated before it can be moved into the downward position, at which point it's just cooled again.

Is it really necessary to heat it just to move it? This adds a LOT of time to the calibration procedure.

Re: Continue print from second spool

And obviously the second nozzle needs to be able to reach the entire remaining print. But yeah, it would be a great feature!

Consider it a feature request :)

Using dual head for large print job?

I have a Pro2. I need to print some large print jobs that need more than a spool's worth of filament. Is there any way to have the printer detect that one extruder ran out, and to resume printing automatically with the second extruder?

Duplicate and move feature requests

I'm working on printing a lot of a handful of different parts, so I'm trying to arrange them on the bed as best I can. It would be great if I could: ⋅ Duplicate a part several times with a particular spacing and direction from the source part. Right now, it duplicates the part and arbitrar...

Re: Can't print single extruder

Gcode attached. I thought I found another setting (Gap Filling/Allow filling gaps using single extrusion filling), but it still uses the right extruder.

Can't print single extruder

Hi. I'm printing this single-color model, and trying to print with only the left extruder. I've shut off all the settings I can find that would use the right extruder, but it still printed some internal structure using it. What else should I be looking for?

Thanks.
