Change the speed preview colors?

Hi, is there a way to change the speed preview colors and speed ranges? When previewing the print speed in the slicer the range from 45-75 mm/s is just green. You can make out some different shades of green but i can really see which speed is which. It would be cool to either change the speed ranges...

Re: Vertical gap thats not the seam

I figured this out.

I had set the retration to 15mm (by typing 1,5, which ideamaker made into 15) so this gap seems to be a residual effect of the differences in nozzle pressure after the retraction.

Vertical gap thats not the seam

HI guys, pro2 user here and I produced a print fault that I have never seen before. Usually I print the model in spiral vase but i just tried it in "normal" mode with 1 perimeter and no (solid) infill. It started ok, but halfway up this weird consitent gap started to form (right) IMG_0078....

Well thats to bad, but i hope that doesnt mean i wont be implemented at some point?

It should also be possible to implement this on the slicer level...

Global z Offset direction?

Hi,

I like to tune my bed adhesion with the global z offset, But how is the value interpreted?

If I enter a positive value, does the nozzle get closer to the bed or farther away?

Cheers

Re: Pressure / linear advance?

@vicky@raise

I use the pro 2. Would be great indeed to unlock this for all printers. Seems like most controllers/manufacturers have implemented some version of this.

Pressure / linear advance?

Hi, I'm printing some small pieces with lots of corners atm that need to fit together and I'm noticing a pronounced bulging in the corners. On myself build printer with a duet I had combatted this issue successfully by enabling the k-factor /pressure advance. On first search I couldn't find details ...

Re: Yet another spool mount mod

Hi, what exactly do you use for splicing? over the years i have seen different gimmicks for that but nothing really jumps out as a practical solution. Have you found a reliable way to join filament?

Re: Berd Air add on

Hi,

i used a similar pump from ali. The specs are listed in the berd air webshop. Its a basic pump that is widely available on ali.
Same with the pwm controller, thats also a cheap chip that looks the same as the ones ali provides for a few bucks.

Re: confirming print removal remotely?

Well thats a shame. I get the safety feature, but @labirynt is right as well. Im happy to sign a waiver.

and besides a forced check over the webcam that the build plate is free you could use the stall detection in the drivers to recognize if the print head bumps into something.

confirming print removal remotely?

Hi, i have my collegues now trained on how to remove prints from the machine, so I dont need to go over to the building next door just to take out one print. However sometimes they forget to press the "print done" button on the touchscreen. starting another print via the remote connection ...

Re: Which fan cooling option for the N2 with E3D adapter?

Hi Charles,

bit late but how have you faired with the berd air?

I wonder what you needed to modify the firmware for though? As far as I understand the berd air the fan signal gets translated by the little mosfet chip. So all modifications would be hardware...

Berd Air add on

Hi, we're printing at work mostly in spiral vase mode but our model have lots of overhangs, so I recently optimized the spiral vase printing speed and I would be able to increase speed by 1/3 if it werent for the model cooling. The avarage speed before increasing the speed was 30mms but as soon as i...

Spiral Vase speed settings

Hi, im printing lots of spiral vase with a 1mm nozzle recently but the speed seems rather slow for my taste. I already increased the layertime in the cooling setting to 30secs so im not limited there. However cant figure out which speed setting the spiral vase mode observes? I would guess the out wa...

Weird bulges in outer walls

Hi printer commanders, im getting these weird bulges on some of my prints. Not all of them but every 3 or 4 prints at some point along a normal wall section just bulges out. First i thought it has to do with the overhang angle but the angles are not that steep to begin with and they start at parts o...
