Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

Hi guys, you all did a great job with your conversions. The reward for all the effort is a better Pro2 than the one delivered from the factory. I generally recommend keeping two heat exchangers as a reserve. If the structure does show microcracks, you have a quick replacement and do not risk downtim...

Re: Pressure / linear advance?

Selling the old technology as new for years is what I call profit maximization. When buying a "new" Pro2 you will NOT be informed of this fact.

Re: Upgrade Kit to Auto-Level Pro2 Printers

Hi Dirk, sorry, i only discovered your question now. Since I have completely replaced the original print bed with a new design, the problem is limited. However, depending on the filament, I also struggle to ensure that the layers connect optimally when I use the full installation space. We are in th...

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

The heat exchanges cost 70 Euros + tax and transport, if at least 4 pieces are ordered. The payment has to be in advance. Is there anybody from Europe willing to order them together with me? Hi Dirk, I recommend you keep the second sentence as a reserve. So did I too. With this type of custom-made ...

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

The higher the printing temperatures, the more the poor cooling of the hot ends and the extruder motors becomes apparent.

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

Hi Sandro,
please try the following:
Send a print file with at least 20 hours of printing time to your new Pro2. Filament PLA, PETG or whatever you want. If your printer passes this task properly, you do not need water cooling. ;)

The connectors were not melted but glued together during assembly. It looks identical on every Pro2.

Try a reset to the factory settings on the third printer before the update.

Re: Noise on my N2

My Pro2 makes a similar noise, just not as loud as on your device. I suspect it comes from an incipient defect in the linear bearing. The printhead assembly is simply too heavy in the long run. The bearings and portal bars are too weak.

Re: Contemplating Water Cooling

If the water cooling is well planned I see no reason not to install it. Since your printer has a heated housing, the stepper motors will thank you to be cooled. The pump system is inexpensive to implement. The heat sinks for the steppers are also cheap. You can also have the heat exchangers for the ...

Re: PLA Warping/Bed Adhesion

I would print this object without a raft.
Please try the following settings:
Bed temperature 60 ° C
Temperature 1st shift 222 ° C, fan off!
Temperature from the 2nd shift 212 ° C, fan to 50%.
Set the nozzle offset in the middle of the building plate to 0.1 mm.
