Re: Cable Chain Support

@Kurtyard,
a lock is of course the icing on the cake. I'm looking forward to the improvement and I'm very excited about the other clips of the water cooling. :D

Re: Cable Chain Support

@Kurtyard,
I installed your mod today and I'm thrilled. The print quality has improved greatly, which is immediately reflected in the absolutely clean top layers. This mod should be a MUST. Thanks again for this great improvement! :D

Right, but you can level it out in minutes. That was much more important to me than being able to take out the thin and bent aluminum plate.
I even level the plate when it's cold and it fits. ;)

Re: Has anyone changed the entire gantry and hotend set up?

Replacing the portal amounts to a total loss. But if you want to save your printer, then please consider converting to water cooling and converting the print bed. You can find the corresponding threads here in the forum. If you are technically gifted, this is relatively quick and the prices are with...

What ball diameter did you use and how thick is the rubber sheet? if possibly, still the dimensions of the rubber plate? Do you share the STL with us?

I've had the same problem several times. After a factory reset everything worked again.

Re: Magnetic holder for extruder fans

Hi All, Is PETG heat resistant enough for this? I've been running the ocelot fan mod for a year or so, and made it out of alloy910 because i was worried about heat, but it looks like petg was used here. I'd just like to not dry my alloy 910 today, when i have a good roll of polymax petg ready to go...

Re: Bed levelling and first layer quality -- at wits end

Forget the dial gauge quickly, it will drive you crazy! The portal bars sag in the middle and the nozzle spacing is much too high at 0.2 mm. Because it was all too stupid for me, I changed the bed. The fact that I cannot remove the build plate does not cause me any problems. I can level the print be...

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

Update: After the water cooling of the extruders worked perfectly, I decided to include the extruder motors in the cooling circuit as well. The heat exchangers are intended for a different printer, but fit the stepper motors of the Pro2. Price per piece around $ 10, made of copper. I have ordered th...

Marcus, hello. I also ran into the problem of a crooked table. Raise doesn't want to fix this. I live in Russia. Tell me if you could help me get this whole conversion kit. And how much would it all cost? Together with shipping to my country. @ Skyline41rus and @all other interested parties, I can'...

Re: Fire safety

It is noticeable that no cable end sleeves were installed. If the screw connections are still a little loose, this is exactly what happens. Apparently there are printers with and without cable end sleeves.

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

@All, from my point of view there is no need to worry about the heat resistance of thermal grease. Due to the heat sinks, the temperature on the throat tubes does not reach critical values. This is best shown in the pictures with the thermal imaging camera. There is a picture where the measuring poi...

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

@Kurtyard,
with my heat exchangers, it is sufficient to tighten the screw slightly for a perfect hold. Has the 6h7 fit been carried out correctly on your heat exchangers?
