Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

Hi Etienne and welcome. The conversion is worthwhile, since the switch to water cooling I have no problems. Prints with more than 45 hours of printing time are now finally possible. If you have any questions or problems with the upgrade - get in touch.

Re: 2 year with PRO 2

@Shelton:
Install a water cooling and a print plate with 3-point leveling and print 4 more years. Then your system is up to date and you still save money.

Re: Raise3D Pro2 Mount

Hi kmxsoft, it is correct that the printer has four feet. The space requirement corresponds to the dimensions of the base area. I built a table out of aluminum system profile 50. 70 cm high, mobile with wheels. 60 x 60 cm wide, on it a table top 65 x 65 cm. Below is a base plate for storing e.g. Fil...

I did two tests and both times it was ~ 99.5 mm. I think that's okay.

How to calibrate / check the E-Steps?

Hi Guys, after all the mods I would like to calibrate both extruders. There are many instructions for this on Google. I have an example here: https://all3dp.com/2/extruder-calibration-6-easy-steps-2/ All of these instructions require printers, which can be fed directly with GCode. I now wonder how I...

Re: Questioning Pro2 Product Quality - Ongoing Issues

I bought the Pro2 commercially because I believed in the many advertising promises. A 3D printer of this price range must be a neatly constructed and well thought-out "workhorse" – I thought... After a week of testing, however, it was clear that I had acquired a lot of problems for a lot o...

Re: Turning off the HEPA filter

After I removed the annoying radial fan on my Pro2 and replaced it with two Noctua fans with PWM control (temperature-controlled) and at the same time removed the fan for hot-end cooling in the course of water cooling, the fan of the power supply turned out to be the real culprit in terms of fan noi...

You can find this option at:
"Settings" - More settings - Reset - Clear local storage. This will only delete the print files themselves.

Re: Liquid cooling for everyone

Hey guys today we come to the conclusion of the installation description. As can be seen from the material list, I use miniature plug-in couplings for hydraulic connections. These hydraulic couplings close on one side when the connection is opened. The couplings are installed once after the pump's s...

Re: MG Chemicals PLA filament "always" fails

The recommendation for filaments is only partially correct, because users outside the USA have to deal with the filaments that are available in their country. The problem is the original hotends and the problem has been known since the Pro2 was released. If the hotend is effectively cooled, the Pro2...

Magnetic holder for extruder fans

Hi Guys, so far it always annoyed me that when working on the hotend, the fans had to be screwed on and off every time. I use the fan mod from ocelot27, but also here the fan has to be dismantled every time to get to the hotends. For this reason, I have redesigned the fan mounts and provided them wi...

Re: MG Chemicals PLA filament "always" fails

Hi Goodseat and welcome to the forum! These are very annoying and time-consuming experiences that you have to have at the moment. Especially if you have been able to process this material on another printer without any problems. Is the printer new or used? Which nozzles are installed and how old are...

Extruder fans

If a print job is canceled, the fans continue to run and must be switched off manually. This is another point for a firmware upgrade.

Of course, you should make these parts BEFORE remodeling the printer! Let's start today with the assembly of the ...
