Printing settings (layers,raft,speed...) for other nozzle sizes

Hi everybody I'm using my Pro 2 plus since the last summer. I've bought the different nozzle size : 0.2 to 1.0mm but i didn't yet found the right settings to use them so i keep on using the 0.4 mm nozzle. What a pity that we don't yet have some settings in IM to have directly the good settings accor...

I've found it by myself: there's an option "per layer settings" in order to assign a different height along the printing

Change layer height during printing

Hello everybody For some parts, the major shape of the part is rectangular and doesn't need particular attention during printing so i can use 0.2mm layer height to print it But for the top area of the part, i've got more details and complex surfaces that gives poor result while using 0.2mm My questi...

Re: FilaFlex filament is not possible to print?

Hello i've got the same problem I've tried lots of things and i've seen that our extruder is not made to print this kind of filament (even if my seller told me that pro2 was compatible with every thing and was able to go on Mars and come back to earth without problem) Inside the extruder there's no ...

Re: How to disable an extruder for using only one

Thanks a lot, next time if i break again a hot end i will be able to use the printer without it Yesterday morning i've received my new hot end and mounted it. It's a pity that the throat tube is not sold as spare parts, because it's the failure point of the hot end. I think that next time i will mea...

Filament conservation

Hello I don't know if this discussion already took place in this board. Where i live the weather is often raining so the conservation of filament is not optimal. I've just bought a food deshydrator for 30€ in a supermarket https://www.electrodepot.fr/deshydrateur-domoclip-dom202.html You put the fil...

Re: Dual-extrusion from new Pro2

Hi. Wonderful result ! Concerning the parameters what parameter did you use for retractation ? Because every time i want to do double extrusion i've got some filaments that perturb the print, and the worst is when i use a wipe wall. I've also saw that for the wipe wall, there's no filament from the ...

Re: Feature Request #2 Build Plate Height Offsets

But i'm agree with you, an automatic Z sensor would be a good thing but it would cost a lot to get a sensor with this kind of accuracy

Re: Feature Request #2 Build Plate Height Offsets

Hello In my opinion it might be dangerous. You make your 0 position with the Z sensor screw and everytime you change the plate (or sometime when you change material) you must redo the 0 calibration. If you make it by the software, the risk would be that one day you'll forget to change the parameter ...

Re: Better time counter

Hi
It would be a good idea to begin the counter after the purge because it begins before the preheating and depending on the material the counter is false

Re: Issues with Start of Print - Raise n Purge Not Happening

Hello
I had back the same problem but i've found the solution:
In one profile of material i've crossed the case "enable jerk control" and then the purge was not done.
I don't know why but if you enable this there's no purge.

Re: Loose screws

I've notice the same thing and i wanted to tighten them but my dealer told me it was necessary to keep them untightened
If you tighten them you will introduce stress inside the bearing.
In my opinion these screws are totally unused and i don't know why they put them
