Re: Selling a Raise 3D Pro2 printer

Vicky, There have been multiple owners wishing to sell their printers in the past week. Their posts are scattered in multiple areas of the forum. Would it be possible to create a new section entitled "For Sale" and move the posts there so the seller's posts get better visibility please? C...

Re: dual speed materials

Which structures are going to be printed by these two filaments? Or both filaments are going to be used all structures on their part of the model?

Re: RaiseCloud + Octoprint = Way off in terms of control and printfiles

Please try the following steps to install a new package to see whether the issue is still there or not. 1. Clear the plug-ins. Click Uninstall & Clean up data. 2. Reboot Octoprint then load files from https://github.com/ReachY/alpha-plugin/archive/master.zip 3. Once it shows binded successfully,...

Re: Raft alternating line angle per layer

Raft can be divided to be 3 parts, each part has different Fill Angles.
The top part have two layers by default. If you want to set different Fill Angles, you will need increase the layers of top layers. Otherwise the extrusion lines will drop to middle layer.

You can try Print Parts in Same Order for each layer. With this feature enabled, the sequential of printing each models on every layer will be the same.

Re: Issues with setting nozzle heights

Correct, you will need to heat the both nozzles to the minimal loading temperature first which is 170C set by default (you can modify it to be lower temperature if your filament can melt under 170C) then the loading or unloading will work as well as the nozzle switching. It is in case there's filame...

Re: Hot end not heating up

According to you diagnose, it sounds very likely either the extruder board or the black heating rod power cable is running with issue. If the heating up codes can be delivered to motion board and temperature changes of nozzles are detected properly, the grey ribbon cable should be fine.

Re: Adding information in GCode

You can add Layer Height in Placeholder under Gcode tab.
https://support.raise3d.com/ideaMaker/5 ... 5-445.html

Filament Used and Print Time should already be at the end of gcode.

Re: Pause at height problem

Pause and home should normally be controlled by firmware.
If the firmware doesn't support, you can add moving codes after pause code in custom gcode to move the nozzle away from the models.

Re: How do I set total perimeter width?

You can set both Bottom Solid Fill Layers and Top Solid Fill Layer to be 0. https://support.raise3d.com/ideaMaker/5-1-3-4-solid-fill-15-1007.html Perimters which are shells in ideaMaker normally multiple times of the extruder width. If you are using 0.4mm nozzle, then 2 shell loops will be 0.8mm wide.

Re: Enabling Right PLA fan in Custom 3D Printer

1. You can add IF statement under Extruder Switch Gcode, such like: [if {layer_index}> 2] M106 P{old_extruder} S0 [if {layer_index}> 2] M106 P{new_extruder} S255 2. ideaMaker's default IDEX is built for Raise3D E2's Reprap Firmware. If you want to control the right side fan individually, you can add...

Re: Ideamaker single template, multiple filaments

We have adding individual templates for each nozzle in developing list.
For the current version, slicing template includes main settings for prints. Different filaments may need different settings to be tuned to get better quality. So each template works for one filament with one printer model.

The the temperature won't have a huge gap before and after, we should can find enough time for nozzles to achieve the target temperature before Dense Layer starts.

Re: Feature request: Temp setting for dense support layer

If the size of the area to print Dense Layer is not large enough, the temperature may not have enough time to increase and decrease to the target value you set for. It will only work for the models which have a lot dense layer strcutures on some layer.

Re: Support with all extruder

There's Support Extruder option under Per-group settings. You can set the two models to be two different setting groups and modify the Support extruder for one of the mdeols.
To avoid Wipe Wall or Wipe Tower, you can enable Stop rinting wipe wall and wipe tower.
