Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

I suggest the addition of keep out zones / support blocking zones for supports similar to CURA.

Re: Exported time-lapse video has 1 frame

Is there any update on when you will export to .MP4? No offense, but I don't really want to download a bunch of freeware to do conversions anytime I want to see a time lapse and .MJPEG isn't usable by a majority of standard media players like VLC.

Re: Filament Runout Sensor Jam

***Resolved, but maybe not in the best way. Support indicated i should heat the block with a heat gun and use the guide cleaner to push it through. Unfortunately this created a worse problem with a bubble of filament locked in where the filament sensor board interfaces with the filament guide channe...

Re: Filament Stepper Motors very hot - even when not printing with nozzle

Agreed, I added heatsinks and they are still almost too hot to touch after an hour. See my other thread on a result which was filament jam and then getting stuck in the runout sensor and now I can't get it out with any tool.

Active cooling or bigger motors seems the best bet.

Filament Runout Sensor Jam

So I had a great thing happen... During an unload of filament on my right extruder, the filament snapped on the bottom of the runout sensor channel. I attempted to use flat nosed pliers to remove the jam from the top of the channel and the top broke. I have no method to push or pull the filament (pu...

Re: Any luck printing @ 0.1mm / 0.05mm layer thickness?

I tried a ton of experimenting and got to .05 mm with S3D. I printed a kingdom death 50mm base on it and the top layer came out almost as solid plastic (impressive). Settings as follows: Infill: 80%+ Layer Height: .05 General underspeed: 30% (from 3600 mm/s) Perimeter: 30 mm/s infill: 40 mm/s Coasti...

Re: Issues printing with left hot end print quality- need help leveling both nozzles

I am also interested in this. I have a Pro2 Plus. My right nozzle got a jam, i removed the plastic that accumulated and now the nozzle is out of location relative to the bed.

How do you jog nozzles up / down manually and what is the process for calibrating nozzle height on a Pro2 Plus?

Thanks,

Re: Raise3D Pro2 Clicking, Stops Extruding, Cold-Side Clogs

I just started getting this issue too on my right extruder on my Pro2 Plus. Everything was fine except the occasional layer shift during a long (12+ hour) print. Then over the last 3 days it started getting clogged mid print. I would unload, clear, reload, re-print and it would re-clog. The jam appe...

That does not appear to be a standard size from Build Tak, nor in PEI sizes. 12" x 12" appears to be the closest standard size. Does Raise 3D or Buildtak plan to sell the standard size for the Pro2?

And please double check your nozzle distance to build plate when origin, it might be too close.

Which size Build Tak is used for the Pro 2 Plus?

Pro 2 Plus - Build Tak Plate Replacement??

So I had a print stuck on the magnetic build plate and was using the spatula to remove the print. As it came free, the sharp edge gouged the build tak. Anyone know the process to replace the Buildtak on the magnetic plate system? It looks almost like 1 piece, but I can't imagine you would just peel ...

Re: Buildtak Flexplate on Pro2

The removable magnetic plate is great for the Pro2 Plus. My one complaint is I scratched the buildtak and don't know what to buy to replace it. I couldn't find any details in the Pro2 Plus documentation

My printer worked great the first few times and now when I switched from a left extruder only print to a right extruder only print I got the same issue. Any fix yet?
