This is what Raise3d USA recommended to me.

Re: Is it OK to buy the Pro 2 now?

Well, I guess I’ll chime in too. I ignored this post as it was almost a year old, but now two users have posted so I will too. It is a fantastic printer. Note that all printers and all things for that matter will have issues in the hands of one user or the other. Sometimes they are genuine manufactu...

Hepa/Carbon replacement

Anyone find an aftermarket replacement for the Hepa/Carbon filter? I see it is $60 USD form Raise3D and it appears to come with a fan. That would be over $100 CAD and I only need the filter.

Thank you.

Re: Prints suddenly turned from perfect to really bad

The reason I asked if it is only on one side is depending on geometry sometimes the fans can’t flow air to the back side of the nozzle. I know there are two fans but sometimes the air can’t get to where you need it and you can get curling, which this kinda looks like.

Re: Prints suddenly turned from perfect to really bad

Is it only on one side of the print? I looks like a lack of cooling to me. What fan speed are you using?

Re: Pro 2 hotend lenght

I had bought a few of the Raise3d 3D nozzles as spares when I bought the printer. I was just hoping to have the same length and type of nozzle. I might buy the Slice ones when I am in need of new heater blocks and switch everything out then. But that’s likely not for quite some time.

Re: Liquid cooled heat sink for the Pro2

Sort of copied Paul’s design, but 3D printed (DMLS) in aluminum instead of machined. Nice! I got a quote to make a set out of copper here in Toronto but they wanted $1000. So I had a set made of my own design instead. I had the main part machined but bent and soldered the tube together myself. Tota...

Re: Pro 2 hotend lenght

Sorry to hijack this post but this is a good place to place this request. Vicky, can we please get real hardened nozzles? I was told that the Rasie3D "hardened" nozzles are not actually hardened but plated brass. I would like to print CF filament. Since it is such a pain to switch the noz...

Re: Liquid cooled heat sink for the Pro2

Shabby.... A very nice installation! The extruder motor cooling will definitely be of value. Not sure the axis drive motors need cooling as they can be hot to touch and not cause any harm. The hot extruder motors preheat the filament and that IS an issue for some filaments. I look forward to hearin...

Re: Liquid cooled heat sink for the Pro2

Do you have a drawing or model of the water block? I’m thinking about doing the same thing with our Pro2 Plus after having to tear apart the extruder for the second time this week to clear a jam between the Teflon guide tube and the lifting assembly. You can ask Paul Yarnall, he posted right above ...

Re: Liquid cooled heat sink for the Pro2

Hi all, this is my first post. I just wanted to share my water cooling build with the community. I did both the X and Y and extruder steppers as well as the heat sinks from Paul Yarnall. It added a net of 91 grams to the head after removing the front fan and associated hardware. Haven’t printed yet ...
