Re: Questioning Pro2 Product Quality - Ongoing Issues

Wait till you need to replace the touch screen, its about $1000, thats what happened to mine and i just wont replace it and will have to settle for remote use. Ya, I just decided to let this thing be a brick for now until I decide what to do with it. Probably better to just sell it as is and get wh...

unfinished, raw printer Yes Skyline41rus, I have to say I agree!! I just found out that my printer needs a new extruder board and motion controller board. Another $470 and it is still within the year that I purchased the machine but they only warranty things that actually may fail for 90 days so ne...

Re: Temperature raising as soon as machine turns on

It looks like my issue is being narrowed down to the circuit board on the top right of the extruder head. There is a short between the two outer pins where the cable for the heating rod plugs in. On the main board there is no short.

Re: Runaway Heate on Heater Rod as soon as machine is turned on (VERY DANGEROUS)

I put the flames because this is a very dangerous situation. Sometimes I turn the machine on and select a print and trust that it is going to start the print as normal with no issues and walk away and check it a few hours later when I have time. (Since the heated bed takes FOREVER to heat up). If I ...

Yes the screen shows the temperature continuing to climb uncontrollably. It does come up with an error on the screen but still keeps heating like crazy.

I will try to call your support tomorrow. Thank you for the quick response! I didn't think I would hear from you until tomorrow at least.

Re: Printing with one extruder still leaves other extruder hot

I have moved to some other prints, I will have to see if I am still seeing this issue. But as of now I can't do anything with my machine as I am having a runaway heater rod issue that is very bad.

Runaway Heate on Heater Rod as soon as machine is turned on (VERY DANGEROUS)

I need an immediate fix. As soon as my machine is turned on the heater rod on the RH extruder heats uncontrollably. I took it out of the extruder to see if it was shorting to something on the thermocoupler and it is not. It heats and gets glowing red hot unless you turn the machine at the switch. Th...

Printing with one extruder still leaves other extruder hot

I have adjusted my settings to cool the inactive extruder for each one when not in use. I do have a temperature set for each extruder based on the material usually loaded for that particular extruder on the left side of this pane. (But this should be over ridden by the "inactive" extruder ...

Re: Lowering Print Platform during Filament Reload

I have run into this same issue and was surprised as well to realize there was no solution to this other than frantically try to use some tweezers and pull the blob out as soon as possible. And yes. This happened after only printing a few layers. But it was already hours wasted and I didn't want to ...

Re: An end to jams - blowers are better...

Thank you for posting this. I have recently started getting many jams at the hot end and was getting very frustrated. I was thinking of doing something similar but wasn't sure what the results would be. Looks like you have gotten great results. I will be doing this mod as well. I like your water coo...

Need setting to cool both extruders when filament runs out

I just ran into an issue with my printer because the filament ran out early this morning and the machine put the extruder off to the side to wait for the filament to be replaced which was great, however it sat there and cooked what was remaining in the nozzle for 10+ hours while I was at work and th...

Pro2 connects to wifi but Ideamaker won't connect to printer???

Can someone please help me. I've been fighting this for a long time and can't figure out how to connect to my Pro2 to my computer with Ideamaker. Wifi connects just fine on the printer. I have 2.4Ghz & 5.0Ghz bands and the printer will connect to both of them. But no matter what I can't get Idea...

Re: How to resume failed air print at last printed layer

ya, I have seen how people online have been able to measure or count to figure out the last layer that printed well and start their print up again at that point. Of course it wouldn't be flawless, but it would for sure be good enough for what this is. It would save a bunch of material and print time...
