Need setting to cool both extruders when filament runs out

I just ran into an issue with my printer because the filament ran out early this morning and the machine put the extruder off to the side to wait for the filament to be replaced which was great, however it sat there and cooked what was remaining in the nozzle for 10+ hours while I was at work and th...

Re: Pro2 connects to wifi but Ideamaker won't connect to printer???

Yes, it shows up in the client list.
I'll see if I can make the IP address static.
Thanks for the tip.

Pro2 connects to wifi but Ideamaker won't connect to printer???

Can someone please help me. I've been fighting this for a long time and can't figure out how to connect to my Pro2 to my computer with Ideamaker. Wifi connects just fine on the printer. I have 2.4Ghz & 5.0Ghz bands and the printer will connect to both of them. But no matter what I can't get Idea...

Re: Dollop of rubbish at start of print

Great job. I've been wanting to do this for a while but haven't spent the time to really think about the code needed. I will be implementing this as well. Thank you so much for your help!!

Re: How to resume failed air print at last printed layer

ya, I have seen how people online have been able to measure or count to figure out the last layer that printed well and start their print up again at that point. Of course it wouldn't be flawless, but it would for sure be good enough for what this is. It would save a bunch of material and print time...

Re: How to resume failed air print at last printed layer

I don't want to have to glue it together. I want to resume the print.

How to resume failed air print at last printed layer

I came home to find my 5 day long print failed after about 2 days of printing today. It was air printing. The first time I've had this happen in a year or so of printing with my Pro2. For some reason the nozzle was jammed up but it was easy to clean out and remove. I'm not exactly sure why it happen...

Re: Is it OK to buy the Pro 2 now?

I have been using a Pro2 purchased about 4 months ago. It has not given me a single problem. I've been using it non stop. Doesn't matter what brand of filament in ABS, PLA, or PETG. From the cheapest to the best, it prints beautifully with only minor tweaking of the settings. I did have to re-level ...

Re: Wifi switch off after power down

I will try the new software. I have tried using my 5g wifi and the 3g or whatever it was (Can't remember right now) but I tried both, and the printer would connect to each one just fine, but I couldn't get Ideamaker to ever find my printer for some reason.

I will update when I figure something out.

Re: Wifi switch off after power down

ya, I tried all of this. I've restarted the printer, the sofware, disconnected wifi, turned it back on. Everything. The printer is connected to wifi, and the computer is connected to my network just as it was before I shut the printer off, and now I can't get them to connect no matter what. It's odd...

Re: Wifi switch off after power down

I just powered my printer down after all the latest updates, and now I can't get it to connect to my computer with wifi, even though it says it is on the network on the printer. Please help.

Re: [BUG][IM-3.3.0] Placing Models on Platform not working

Nevermind, it was my mistake. You software works great, I was just thinking that the "Put models on platform" meant to lay them flat on the platform. It just makes them touch the platform in whatever orientation they already are in. The "Lay Flat" tool is what I should have looke...

[BUG][IM-3.3.0] Placing Models on Platform not working

I really like the updates in the new Ideamaker but today at work I ran into a problem where it would not place my models on the bed. They were designed in odd locations in space around existing Engineering parts. When brought into ideamaker they come in at those odd angles and I could not do anythin...

Re: Loads of New Exciting Updates available for download

Ya, I've been trying to get Cura to work with my Pro2 to compare some of it's features but I can't find any settings or code changes that will make it start and work correctly on a print. Hopefully someone smarter than me can figure this out and help us all with this.

Re: Loads of New Exciting Updates available for download

I agree, I have used Simplify3d for a long time, and I found them very lacking now. They haven't kept up with the pace of everyone else, and it's an expensive paid for software. I find this unacceptable. I wish I had never spent the money on it. Cura is WAY better now and is Free. Ideamaker is simpl...

Re: Loads of New Exciting Updates available for download

WOW, you guys sure have a lot of negativity going on. I just tried the new software last night and many of the things I've mentioned for upgrades as well as others have been implemented now. This software works great. I am very impressed with the balance between ease of use as well as great features...

Loads of New Exciting Updates available for download

I can't wait to get these new downloads and try them out. From the change description listed it sounds like Raise3D has really been listening to what people have been asking for. Of course there will always be more, but it sounds like this is going to be a huge step in the right direction. Thank you...

Re: Best Filament Brand for Each type of Material

Since Raise3d is very slow at adding profiles for new materials. I'm going to add my settings that I find here, to try and help others. Hopefully someone will appreciate this. I wanted to see how my Pro2 did with the cheapest filament I could find. So I bought some ABS on Ebay for $13 for a 1kg spoo...
