Re: Calibration PRO 2

I'm thinking about buying a PRO 2. I could see an N2 up close. The calibration of the platform of this model seems to be difficult and very long in comparison with the calibration of a Witbox for example (a lot of screws to adjust on the plateau of the N2 !) How is the calibration done on the...

Controller

Is the controller in the Pro2 and off-the-shelf controller or custom to the Pro2?

Re: Thinking about bailing on the Pro2Plus.... just cant keep fixing it.

I don't blame you for bailing on it. I have the Pro2 for over a year and I have spent more time fixing it than printing. They won't fix the extruder assembly they will just come out with a new model and bail on the Pro2 owners.

Re: Liquid cooled heat sink for the Pro2

Do you have the liquid going around the heat break or just in and out at the front of the heat sink?

Are the replacement hot ends exactly the same design as the original or a updated design?

Re: Poorly Designed Hotend on Pro2

I think this goes to support the OP's claim that this is poorly designed. After snapping one hotend throat and having a hotend leak on me, I see his frustrations in the design. Especially the concern over alignment - incredibly difficult to do, and I broke two hotends in the process. YES I understa...

Re: Poorly Designed Hotend on Pro2

Again, since you loosened yours, and you are basing everything on rotation of the heater block, you are at risk for a leak. http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6191 09DF402D-3486-40D6-AE8C-923874E1340D.png Again, what you do is, you first screw the nozzle until it bottoms out against t...

Rough prints against support material

When I print ABS against HIPS support material the start of the ABS comes out horrible. Anybody have any suggestions to improve the transition? I have attached of photo of a recent print.

Re: E3D V6 on Pro2

I'd like to know how Raise3D did the auto lift feature? Currently I'm working on a whole new carriage that would use micro steppers to lift and lower the print head along with built in sensors that work with the print head as the device that presses against the bed to detect exact bed height. The i...

Re: E3D V6 on Pro2

I reused the shifting servo that came with the printer and replaced all the other shifting parts. One issue with the current Pro2 that I hate is the leveling of the hot ends. Using the collar was not very bright. My design utilizes set screws for precision adjustable. I designed around what is alrea...

Re: E3D V6 on Pro2

Design Update: I scraped the first design and am finishing up a design that completely replaces the shifting assembly with a new assembly. The new assembly makes adjustment easier and there is no loss of build height. Rendering to come next week.

Re: Pro 2 Plus extruder jams.

I am working on a design to convert my Pro2 to utilize the E3D V6 hot ends which would eliminate the issues the Pro2 is having. You might eliminate the clogging maybe, but there are many other issues that many people are facing, not just me and its clear from the forum posts. That's what i would li...

Re: PETG and what brands

I have been working on the PETG issue the past few days I have broken down the printhead assembly several times. The issue is not the filament but there is a fundamental flaw with the design of the printer head with certain circumstances. I have tested the design flaw several times and everytime it ...

I would be interested in purchasing this for my Pro2.

Will you ship to the UK?
