Re: Flexible filament not feeding?

I had a similar issue. Essentially, the TPU was getting a little too warm in the tube before getting to the extruder. This cause it to be a little more "bendy" than usual. I decreased my temp by 5 degrees, and made sure I was printing with the top cover off.

Re: First layer not sticking

I modeled a little box with a little clamp that attaches to the buildplate, under where the nozzles purge. Inside is coated with tape. When they purge, most (most) of the time, the tape catches the purge no problem

How is the bed adhesion? Is the part curling up at all?

Tested new board with drivers and without drivers. Same result.

Re: Print Quality

Any number of things can cause a "bad" print. Layer height, layer speed, bed temperature, extruder temperature, nozzle distance, etc. Unfortunately, there isn't a magic formula to get a good print.

Re: Replacement Board, Serial Error: No Such Device or Adress

Update: took the back cover off the touch screen just to make sure nothing was loose. Nothing was.

So, in short:
Old board with just power and USB connection: no issue
New board with just power and USB connection: serial error

Re: Replacement Board, Serial Error: No Such Device or Adress

Update: I plugged JUST the USB and the power into the old board, and everything started up no problem. Does that mean the new board has a faulty USB connection?

Replacement Board, Serial Error: No Such Device or Adress

So I recently replaces the board in my N2+ for various reasons. After plugging everything back in, turned on the printer, and got "Serial Error: No such device or address." From my research on the forums, that's a result of the control board not talking properly to the rest of the printer....

Re: Shifted print

I'm not gonna claim to know a lot about 3D printing, but is your part curling up at all? Or is the raft sticking all the way around? I print the Raise PLA with the bed cold, since I was getting some curling, that would lead to part shifting. Also, how are your first layers looking? Nozzle could be t...

Re: Random Stop

If I was a betting person: #1 you may not have the thermal protector installed #2 you may not even be aware of what the ribbon cable fault does or looks like #3 1 and 2 combine to cause failures, and depending on what exact firmware you are running this may or may not ever report a screen error, ma...

Random Stop

Ran a part. Came out fine. Ran it again, same code, same everything, and the printer just stopped. Halfway through the print. Didn't home the nozzle or anything, just stopped on top of the print. No warnings on the screen. Nothing. Everything was still hot.

Thoughts to the cause?

Re: All of a Sudden...Terrible Layers

Do you have a single extruder or layer controlled fan? There is a weird "feature" in ideaMaker which I thought was a bug. http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6299&start=40#p30429 Turns out, it was a filament jam issue. Not an over extrusion, but an under extrusion. Thanks...

Not that I know of. Maybe a cooling issue/layer cooling time in general

All of a Sudden...Terrible Layers

Ran a simple cube as a test this morning, and all of a sudden, I got terrible layers. Bed adhesion was good. No grinding or anything of the nozzle on infill. Bed was at 60 for initial layer, extruder at 195. Any ideas? Obviously I must have adjusted some setting without realizing it, I just don't kn...
