Printer wont turn on (No power)

Postby NeilOM » Mon Mar 12, 2018 10:24 am

Hi,
Has anyone ever had a problem with their Raise3D N2 dual ext where it will not turn on?

It is an early design without the screen reset button, I have had it about 2 years and this morning I went to turn it on and nothing?

FLipped the switch at the back not a sound nothing on the screen, I tried a second plug and nothing.

Has anyone any ideas? Is there a troubleshooting guide I can work through for this issue?

Thanks,
Neil

What about the fans and led strips? Do they work after power on or all don't run properly besides screen?
Or it is better to shoot us a support ticket to ask our support team to help up.

Did you check the fuse socket inside the power switch receptacle?
As seen before in this topic viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6079&p=24560&hilit=fuse#p24560

While this video is not specific to our printers, the same basic power entry panel fuse location, and how you get to it are roughly the same.
First remove the power cord and then use a flat tip screwdriver to lift up the little tab and pull out the fuse holder.

BTW, the fuse may look perfect and not blown, but not actually work. If it looks OK, you still need to use a meter or circuit tester to check.
Raise3D support told me that this fuse has been an issue more than once.

Then you may need to check the PSU working status. Our support engineer will help you to work through.
