Feature Request:
Title: "z-hop while traveling" or "avoid printed parts while traveling" feature.
Description: To be used independantly or in conjunction with "retract at layer change" an option to z-hop while traveling with possible options of "All the Time" or "only on outer sufaces (top and bottom layers).
Version: 3.1.0.1545
Operation System: win10
Reason: As examples... items like emblems, key chains, etc.. that have flat top/bottom surfaces that are the primary cosmetic surfaces can be ruined by travel marks as the head moves across the printed surface. Developing an option to either "avoid outer surfaces" or z-hop when travelling would greatly reduce the need for post processing, clean-up or potentially trashing a print. Even though this feature would likely increase print time, the offset is more successful prints with lets post-processing time.
Thanks for the consideration.

Please make this a priority!! Go through all the trouble of an absolute beautiful top layer and then you get a line/ooze across it from the nozzle, software is fantastic and could be miles above the rest with a few additions. I did a comparison of the same model in Slic3r Prusa, Cura 3.2 and IdeaMaker, and I prefered your slicer until I noticed that there was no option for avoiding printed parts or z hop while traveling/retract while z hopping. It was a deal breaker after that

I agree, I get little drips during these travel moves while inside the model.

Hello Vicki
Has there been any progress on this feature request? Just wondering if it will be in the next release and when that release might be coming?
Thanks

We haven't achieve the same feature yet. But you can try zhop only at solid parts in latest version.
