RAFT can not be solved ...

Postby Korni » Mon Jul 09, 2018 3:21 pm

Hello,

the RAFT can not / hardly be detached from the print object. It sticks so hard that it can not be solved as well as possible and rather the print object is broken when trying.
Can I set something in ideamaker? Or do I have to adjust Z-axis .....?

Thank you

Under "Platform Additions" there is a setting called Raft Gap from Model. This controls how far away the nozzle moves vertically from the raft surface before starting to print the model and supports. The value should vary depending on your material and the size of your print, but I've found that 0.15 is usually a pretty good setting for PLA and between 0.17 and 0.20 is good for ABS or polycarbonate. You might need to experiment a bit.

You should relevel your bed and set the distance from bed to nozzle to 0.2 mm. Another probability is that you are printing to hot.

Is a exact (Video) StepbyStep instruction to relevel the bed available ?
Quickstart Quide is a shame and not informative enough ...

Normally for Pro2, you only need to check the leveling screws in 4 corners.
Please shoot us a support ticket, our technicians will guide you how to carry out a bed leveling.
