Please check the preview in ideaMaker of your gcode. The points marked as red forks are retraction points.
Normally by default, retraction is triggered before each long movement. You can check whether in ideaMaker whether the retraction points are enabled properly or not.

I have just registered to weigh in on this.
I've been having issues with underextrusion at the start of lines and someone suggested I try Ideamaker to see if maybe a different slicer would help. Well, it didn't.
At least in Cura, I was getting all the right retractions. Here in Ideamaker, it's as if it won't listen.
Here are my settings.

When it does retract, it restarts perfectly.
When it doesn't, it results in things like this:

And as evidenced by the following, a glaring majority of these travels moves should have retraction as they are over 5mm long and have had well over .1mm of raw filament extruded prior to the travel:
(See drag marks, squares on platform are 20mm)

Video of gcode preview showing lack of retractions despite settings, and ALSO avoiding "holes" in the model despite having tried unchecking that setting: https://i.gyazo.com/3b15d2944463bbe0d05 ... 8c9fb5.mp4

Have you enabled the option "Avoid Retraction inside Models"?
