All of a Sudden...Terrible Layers

Postby maxamillo » Thu May 24, 2018 6:28 pm

Ran a simple cube as a test this morning, and all of a sudden, I got terrible layers. Bed adhesion was good. No grinding or anything of the nozzle on infill. Bed was at 60 for initial layer, extruder at 195. Any ideas? Obviously I must have adjusted some setting without realizing it, I just don't know which.

Could the nozzle be too far away?

Did you change / adjust your fan covers?

Not that I know of. Maybe a cooling issue/layer cooling time in general

Do you have a single extruder or layer controlled fan? There is a weird "feature" in ideaMaker which I thought was a bug. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6299&start=40#p30429

Turns out, it was a filament jam issue. Not an over extrusion, but an under extrusion. Thanks though!
