Postby 3Dimensionen » Fri Nov 03, 2017 9:40 am

Hello Community,

i am looking for help with this tricky part.
My printer is a Raise N2 plus V2.
Printmaterial is PLA (Raise) and the layerheight should be 0.1mm or less.
Time is an great issue because i have to print 300 of them.

I hope that you can come up with some intersting/helpful settings.
Thank you avery much in advance for all your help.

Best regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
I see no problems printing this part. You do not need support or raft. The closed side should should be on the platform.
The wall thickness is 1.2 mm, exactly 3 tracks.

Hello Frank,

could you be so kind and send me your printing strategy?
That would be really great.

Best regards
Peter

Print these using one-at-a-time mode, so one failure does not ruin a whole plate of parts.

Hi Peter,
you can use the default setting for PLA fine. However, the filling is not optimal for me. Your wall thickness is 1.2mm, so actually 3 shells, but does not work. In this case, you can set the Extrusion Width to 0.38mm. Now your shells look very even.
Disadvantage, your part is theoretically 0.02mm too small. If this is important, you can scale that a bit in X and Y.

Greeting Frank

change settings to:

and now:

In addition, I noticed a small asymmetry, maybe that's how it should be.
