Test-Onject printed - surprised

Postby Tinkerer » Thu Oct 19, 2017 9:21 pm

Just for curiosity I did print the "ctrlV"-printer test version 3 this evening.
I am happy to say I am positively surprised!
Have a look yourself - this was printed without any support.
I just wonder why I have this pitting-issues...

to me, it looks like you are real close on your settings. this looks like a slight over extrusion. try dropping the flowrate down by couple. so if your extrusion rate is 1 drop it to .98, if its 100% drop it to 98% and give it another run. :)

Try disable Check Think Wall under Other tab.

Vicky,
I tried that.
With this option unchecked, the very small verticals are missing.

But the overhang looks better, yes.

So I sacrifice details on one end for nicer details on the other.

Hmmmm...
