NEED HELP for Support - Settings

Postby babo386 » Wed Jan 18, 2017 4:07 pm

Hallo Cummunity,

i am new. My Raise3D - N2 is two days old. Sorry for my bad english...

Now my problem is following:

I would like to print a model with Support (HIPS), but I do not find the correct settings. Where do I have to put the right hook, in which window? In what windows. Someone has a tutorial on youtube?

Dual Extruder:
Left: PLA 1.75
Right: HIPS 1.75

What you are showing is wipe wall.

If you are doing dual extrusion and support in a different material is dual extrusion, you must have wipe wall to prevent contamination of the second nozzle into your print on a layer by layer basis.

Again, you want it jacketed, that is an IMPORTANT understanding for you to have.

if that is the model you want to print you might want to change orientation so you do not need the support.

Printing without support or the least possible is usually preferred

Maybe you're just testing dual extrusion... if it's not the case, i think you'll get better results by laying the cross you want to print on the bed
