raft not coincident with part after factory reset

Postby Maggie » Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:02 pm

Hello,

I did a factory reset on a Pro2 while attempting to troubleshoot some printing issues (I'm new to 3D printing here). I decided to reprint an old part to see if anything changed. It is a dual-extruder print, PLA 1.75 mm. The raft printed in the center of the plate as usual, but the actual part was offset by a couple of centimeters. I attached a picture to illustrate the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction to figure out why the part was so shifted after the factory reset? In the meantime I resliced the part and am trying again on just the left extruder (red PLA). So far it looks fiine. Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to calibrate your X Y offset now. It is inside More Settings -> Hardware -> Extruders. I guess you issue might because that Factory Reset sets the offset to be 0.
I will recommend you to start from X 25, Y 0.
