How the head moves to the start of the print

Postby Guus van Marle » Sat Mar 17, 2018 5:12 pm

I noticed that the head first moves to the location and then it goes down, but that leaves some nasty marks on my Buildtak, I want it to go like it does with Cura, it moves to the location while moving down.
So I need to change this: "G0 F12000 X59.993 Y65.826
G0 F1500 Z0.120"

To this: "G0 F1500 X59.993 Y65.826 Z0.12

but this is not in the start Gcode, but in the Gcode file, and I don't want to change this every time i want to print something.

It is not in the Start Gcode, it is after Start Gcode.
The reason why we separate X Y and Z movement is because they have different speed.
By the way, what are the nasty marks you mean? The nozzle should be far to the build surface before moving to print area.
