Just a couple of facts. The BNC Sigma is a Bowden extruder and Bowden means the feeder is mounted to the frame pushing the filament through the long tube under pressure into the nozzle.
Raise 3D N series is direct drive meaning the extruder feeder is mounted above the hot nozzle system (aka hotend) and therefore less distance and compression, also less friction.

Both printers have 3rd party Bondtech extruder upgrades as a potential 3rd party modification.

But back to some facts as well:
I personally was interested in some features found on the BNC Sigma such as independent moving nozzles for dual extrusion. Being dead honest after detailed inspections of the printer and watching an excellent review that pointed out some flaws in print quality that made me back off from even considering the BNC sigma https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96zY4V7rfuc

So do you have now a Raise N1? And do you lie it?

Hi Chessrus,

The N1 is a solid printer for it's build volume and capabilities. I'm sure Jetguy will be able to elaborate further on the matter of comparing the printers. It would be a bit one sided if I were to step in and say our product is better than another.

Do I like my N1? It's my favorite printer of all time.
It'a also the favorite one to use with my Mosaic Palette+ to give me multiple color prints.
Keep in mind, while the palette+ gives you the cool colors- the print quality- that's all just the N1 printer.

But even projects I printed in single color on the N1 like these posted on Flickr are amazing surface finish and part strength in MakerGeek's Raptor PLA.

Even my massive robotic arm was printed on the N1 in sections https://www.flickr.com/photos/90025904@ ... 1705450201

And here is an example from last year this same time- check out the surface finish on these parts
