Idea maker Not slice properly?

I found interesting item from thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1692823

However the STL file not slice properly in Idea Maker. (the blue slice with dark bg)

I tried with other slicer, like cura, and it's working! (yellow slice with light bg)

I wonder how to make this model slice properly in Idea maker?

The answer is simple, the STL posted to Thingiverse has MASSIVE issues in it and is not properly ready for 3D printing. This validated by both Ideamaker and Netfabb confirming the STL has issues.
Unfortunately Ideamaker auto repair cannot fix all problems.

I had to use Netfabb online repair https://tools3d.azurewebsites.net/ and because that exports AMF files only now, use Simplify 3D since it can open an AMF and converted it back to STL.

So sure, you have a point that Ideamaker couldn't repair it natively, but that was ALSO one screwed up example of a file posted on thingiverse that nearly any slicer could and would have issues with. Now after repair it slices fine in Ideamaker. Also notice how it went from 9,685kb to now 22,638kb in size after repair to create the "missing" data.

Try the option Merge Internal Overlapping Parts in Other tab when slicing and check the preheat whether it works for you.
