R3D carruage CAD drawings

Postby JolietDelta » Wed Jun 28, 2017 9:17 am

Good {morning|evening|night} :-)

I decided to design a new hotend and filament cooling solution as I'm not satisfied with the one made by R3D. Unfortunately my printer is some hundret kilometers away and I can't make any measurements of the carriage.

Is there a way how and where I can get a STEP file of the carriage? support@raise3d seems to have a SPAM filter exclusively for me. No reaction to my e-mails in the last three weeks.

Many thanks in advance.

I modelled the file above. I did a lot of work on designing new cooling solutions but everything pretty much met with failure when trying to alter Raise3D design for the side cooling fans.

you best bet to trying to come up with something will be to use the existing models for the side fans to provide data where your holes are. those can be found here. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8

I have an idea atm but I need to actually design it for a new cooling solution that would not put a part into danger of causing a clog, which my last part did.
