Adjustable bed offset at the printer

It would be useful to have a print-offset screen at the Touch Panel to accept manually entered X and Y +/- coordinates.
It should also have the option for the printer to pick a random position that the object can still fit within the print bed.
It then offsets the XY in gcode at print time. This has several benefits:
1. PrintTak surface will wear better and lasts longer by using all the surface area rather than concentrating in the center portion.
2. Hairspray user can simply move the object to a non-used surface area rather than re-spraying the same area every time.
3. Accuracy can be maintained longer because gears and rods will last longer from more even wear.

This feature will avoid having to slice the same object over and over just to offset the placement on the bed.

Even if not implemented, this request submission serves to prevent someone from getting a patent on this idea.

Could be wrong, but I think Stratasys may already have a patent on that.
