Dual Nozzle Temperature Control During Exchange

Hi,

If there is not already, may there be a feature for simultaneous inactive nozzle cool down while the other heats up? (in a location away from the part)

Currently, we can move in a location away from the part and heat up the nozzle that is about to print but we cannot cool down the nozzle that just finished its layer until the new layer starts and the just heated nozzle is already printing. Therefore, there is still oozing/stringing clinging to the part from the nozzle that starts cooling down only when this new layer has begun.

The overall temperature exchange process should be done before the next layer begins. One heats up and the other cools down. THEN a new layer can begin.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. As shown in the image below, by checking "Cool Down Inactive Extruder", cooling down only occurs during printing. I believe it would be beneficial if the extruder was cooled down "before" printing occured.

We should have already fixed this issue and will have the unused nozzle start cooling down once the start code completed from the next version.
