Dish drainer lift

Postby jetdillo » Wed Jan 24, 2018 4:19 pm

Okay, so it's not the most beautiful thing in the world, but it's certainly practical and I couldn't have printed it on anything smaller than my N2+.
The flip-out metal legs on the dish rack in the kitchen don't tilt it up far enough for all the water to drain out, so it pools at one end and gets gross.
OpenSCAD and my Raise-3D N2+ to the rescue!.

I printed it flat and diagonal because printing it vertically would have used about half a spool of PLA just for the support. With the space between the legs on the rack being just under 14", it was a pretty tight fit to get it on the bed, but it fits!
One further outcome from this project is the realization that my build plate is not entirely level at the far ends. That will be this weekend's project :)
