Ambulance

Postby Mecha_Monster » Thu Jan 04, 2018 3:54 pm

Hello!,

A friend of mine works with an ambulance, so I modeled, printed and painted that same ambulance as a Christmas gift.

The base model is a ford van that I found in thingiverse, then I mod it using SolidWorks. All the parts are printed with Polymaker's PC-Max (I am impressed that something that large and voluminous didn't detached) and hand painted.

Layer size: 0.25mm
shells: 3 | Infill: 10%
Print speed: Infill 35mm/s, shells: 30 | outer shell: 25 | first layer: 8mm/s
Extruder temp: 272 | Buildplate temp: 110

The Buildplate is coated with superglue

Paint: Oil paints (the same you get to paint your house). I got each 250ml can of paint for about 2 bucks.

Really well done, any chance you saved some of your post processing pictures to show step-by-step?

Thank you,

Unfortunately I don't have step by step pictures. But for my next project I will :)
