Majora's Mask

Postby Mecha_Monster » Fri Oct 13, 2017 12:39 am

Back with the big prints.

I printed Majora's Mask from Legend of Zelda. It is about 50cm (20") wide. Printed in parts: 2 halves for the face and each horn apart.
Material: White ABS, Oil paints. Halves joined with supper glue and detailed with filling for wood.

In the image: My sister with the mask :)

Hey, great job!
The post-processing looks awesome, too. Great work! One of our techs tackled this model in wood-fil with a .8 nozzle. Great to see how well the ABS looks with it. Keep up the masknificent work!

Thanks :)

I printed with the standard 0.4mm nozzle.
The mask in the pictures is real size, but then I decided to go further and print one at a 130% scale. Again. ABS. Total print time = 48 hours and 600 grams of material.
Buidlplate set at 110 to keep everything cozy and warm. Also a thin layer of super glue to be 100% sure that the print wont detach.
