P51 Mustang Print

Postby Jetguy » Mon Feb 27, 2017 4:23 pm

Here is the latest prints on my brand spanking new N2 Plus. These airplane models are flyable, and while not free (you have to buy the STLs), probably one of the coolest prints I've ever done. Now, yes, I also used my N1 and N2 in parallel to print all the parts quicker.

wow that is really cool, what filament did you use? Are you going to epoxy coat it for strength?

Just used the supplied yellow Raise 3D PLA that came with my printers. No, you don't need to epoxy coat for strength and might add too much weight.

The best part was the supplied presliced gcode provided with the files is compatible with all 3 printers (N1, N2, and N2Plus).
That way you preserve the ideal settings to achieve the proper strength to weight ratio.
