Lower platform using touchscreen

Postby DeftCAD » Wed Feb 21, 2018 11:19 am

I'm unblocking a nozzle (for the second time today, having had no issues in AGES!) and want to lower the platform for easier access. I'm aware I can do this under Utilities by tapping the down arrow for Z, but it's in 1mm increments so takes ages. Can I modify the value and do it with one tap? E.g. 100mm and then tap down?

How do you change it to 10mm?

Hit the button on the display in Utilitiy ?

There are several options, step, 0-1, 1, 10, maybe more, just above the x-y and z area of the touchscreen

Be ware that there is no stop at the bottom. Press to much and the bed will bottom out. Sounds (and probably is) really bad.

Ah, got it. I looked at the interface and not really paying attention to the numbers on the left or right (I was a bit annoyed at the blockages at the time and only interested in Z height) thought the central one related to Z and the others related to the icons below.

Should have had a cuppa and come back to it with a clear head!
