red LEDs on motion control board

Postby awolf » Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:27 pm

I just replaced my motion control board, and for the first time am running with the cover off, just to watch for awhile. There are several locations for various LEDs on the board, which normally won't be seen when the cover is in place. The specific ones that seem to be flashing are the TX and RX LEDs. Is this normal? Any cause for alarm? So far the test print is doing fine.

Is there a published reference for what the LEDs mean when they are one, flashing, red, or green?

Thanks in advance.

Since the gcode is sent to the board over serial UART to include requesting tempature and expecting a reply, TX and RX will be flashing all the time.
The heater outputs are green located by the MOSFETs, the power on is near the USB connector (green) and the standard debug arduino style red LED is near the aux connectors.
