X-Axis movement vibration in a straight line

Postby crimsonchin » Mon Oct 02, 2017 3:58 pm

I am having an issue with my N2 X-axis motor not making smooth movements. It is comparable to when you run your car tire over the lane separator line with the indentations on the road to warn you that you are veering off too far.
When printing anything perfectly straight along the X-axis, micro vibrations occur, causing a loud and low pitched noise for the duration of the x-axis movement. This micro vibration has also occurs when the head is moving in a straight line at a 45 degree angle. I put my finger on the y-axis belt when this occurs and I feel no vibrations, so it only exists in the x axis assembly.
I also have an N2+ and this has never happened.
