Postby 3Dimensionen » Fri Sep 22, 2017 2:49 pm

Hi Community,

has anybody ever seen this?
Is the printhead body broken or not?
Brand new Raise3D N2 plus with BondTech extruders and V2 HotEnds

Thank you in advance for your answers.

No, before you even go down this road, that is NOT a break. The cast version of the central cross block intentionally was machined with slots so that the bearings pressed in will NOT crack the housing. This is normal and is why the cast block is a tighter fit to the bearings VS the CNC style.

I cannot stress enough, this is normal expected and intentionally made that way.

Hello Jetguy,

thank you very much for your quick response. Your information makes sence to me. So I'm happy not having to make any changes to the printer.
Thank you again.

Best regards
Peter
