If using Z movement button to control the Z direction move up and down, can Z go up?
If using Z home button, can Z up to the origin point?

Is this another power cycle the printer case?
We've seen this before related to a gcode state with a higher than the Z axis can handle feedrate and since the commands may not be sending feed rate values you see this problem until power cycling??

Just to ensure I'm being clear on this.
I saw that the first testing was validating the state of the endstop using the M119 command and based on the info it looks correct (endstop is not triggered and reads not triggered, and when endstop is manually hit, the closure is sensed.

So, the basic question is does the axis try to move and skips steps (a buzzing sound)
OR
Is it that the axis will not move at all in the up direction

This determines if the information in this topic is relevant viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2560
If the axis won't physically move up but skips steps making a buzzing sound- that is the same as the topic.
If the axis makes no sound at all- then it's not trying. That could indicate an endstop stuck however the testing says that is not the issue.

so back again.
Problem is back.
I can only go downstairs, end stops are okay, also solve when I touch them.
M119 shows correct status, I believe my board is broken.
Marlin firmware latest, display firmware also the last.

LCD has it's own menu for number of extruders.
Note picture is a screencap connected via ideamaker and you cannot edit this way. You must edit actually on the printer LCD itself.
Also, you must restart the LCD or the entire printer for this setting to take effect.

What about X&Y's homing?
If unplug the Z endstop switch from motion board, can bed move up properly?
